"They look like they play a lot of man (coverage) and zone schemes and all that," McCall told USFBullsEye.com. "I think I'm pretty good with all that."
The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is a local product, going to Tampa area power Armwood High School. He held offers from Indiana, UCF, Vanderbilt and others but selected USF after taking in their most recent game against Ball State.
"I had to chance to speak with (the USF coaching staff) before the game," he said. "They were excited. I told coach Skip Holtz and he told the rest of the coaches came and congratulated me and said thanks and all that."
McCall is USF's 10th commitment for the class of 2012 and third cornerback headed there next year.
