Beat LSU for: Beat Alabama for:

Running back Trent Richardson
LSU came hard after the Pensacola (Fla.) back but he wound up with picking Alabama on Signing Day.

Wide receiver Rueben Randle
Alabama was one of the few realistic out-of-state options for Randle, who didn't surprise many by choosing to stay close to home on Signing Day.
Battling for in 2012

Landon Collins

#9 overall, #1 defensinve back

Geismar, Louisiana

6-foot-1, 205-pounds

Visiting Tuscaloosa this weekend.

Tom Lemming evaluation: In person he already looks like an NFL FS. Physical, he reminds me of Karlos Williams.

Top 2012 Recruit

Geno Smith
Five-star cornerback
Atlanta, Georgia
6-foot, 165-pounds
Tom Lemming evaluation: Slightly built but there's not a better cover corner in the country. He explodes to the ball, shows good leaping ability, timing, and anticipation. He dominated everyone he went up against in 2010 and he's exceptional when the ball is in the air.

Vadal Alexander
Four-star offensive lineman
Buford, Georgia
6-foot-6, 310-pounds
Tom Lemming evaluation: He's big, tough, aggressive and technically sound. On a team with several potential All-Americans, Mr. Alexander really stands out. He shows the potential to play either left or right tackle, extends his arms, shows good initial quickness and plays the game on his feet.
Top 2013 Recruit

Robert Nkemdiche
Defensive end
6-foot-5, 275-pounds
Older brother plays at Ole Miss, would be top-ranked DE in 2012 class as well.

Ricky Jefferson
Wide receiver
5-foot-11, 185-pounds
Younger brother of Tigers' QB Jordan Jefferson, one of the few in-state players with an LSU offer.
