South Carolina tight end Kelvin Rainey took an official visit to Arkansas.

Paul Johnson spent a full day observing Georgia Tech's top recruit Francis Kallon.

Dwayne Stanford will take an official visit to Oregon in a week and then commit with Adolphus Washington before Thanksgiving.

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham learned his recruiting tactics from the Utes former head caoch.

Still months from Signing Day, Michigan is turning their attention to the class of 2013.

Recruits are taking a wait-and-see approach on Ole Miss with Houston Nutt gone after the end of the year.

The feeling is mutual.  I always laugh when they try to compare ND's stadium, fight song, or tradition to Michigan's.  Not remotely in the same category other than with age.  The past 10+ years is proof positive you can't live on special team's luck and biased officiating forever.  Now that those two things seemed to have dried up, so has the program's success.  Enjoy the mediocrity buddy, you wear it well.

Irish will be second tier unless they join a conference - it gives meaning to a season when you are not in the MNC hunt. Even Teams like ISU play for something ever week - ie can knock someone off their pedestal

To think where this program was a year ago to where it is now. Big Blue will be contending for years to come.

Michigan already has the #1 recruiting class for 2012, and with Shane Morris and Dymonte Thomas already committed, it looks like 2013 could be a great recruiting year too...GO BLUE!

(PS, Is there anyway at all that Thomas doesn't end up with Dynomite as his nickname???)
