Ohio State recruits, no surprise, like the idea of Urban Meyer as their head coach.

Only recruiting can help turn around Florida after a disappointing season.

Colorado coaches are ready to burn up the recruiting trail now that the season is over.

Maryland is becoming a serious player for D'vario Montgomery.

Nick Saban was dressed up and ready to go recruiting after Alabama's regular season is over.

Missouri will widen the area they recruit but won't make a huge change in how they recruit with their move to the SEC.

Nebraska has turned their attention to recruiting.

California has much more to sell to recruits when Jeff Tedford and company head out.

Georgia has won 10 straight on the field, can they get hot off it?

Urban is not going to make through his contract or else I'd be more upset that the Ohio State Correctional Facility Buckeyes are going to get a handslap for their lying-a$$ coach and the endless stream of cash, cars, tats and felonious behavior. Go Blue!

How could any recruit believe a word that comes out of this man's mouth?
Perhaps he could sell a few used cars while he's out recruiting.

11/29 Recruiting Roundup

Dude, Dunn's a stud and if he doesn't get on board he is going to Michigan. Thats the point.
I know Green-Bekham is or maybe was a pipe dream but things have changed. Ohio State has become even more attractive to WR's and atheletes over the last week. Getting Green-Bekham would be a long shot still, as he has only visited Oklahoma and Texas, but I would almost guarantee that he has given OSU a secong thought. He would have to be extremely dense and out of touch not to. Meyer should try to take advantage of that. The kid is just a freak.
I said previously that you can never get enough WR's and DB's and you said atheletes. Where on the field are you playing your best atheletes? WR and DB. The premiere programs recruit those 2 positions well. Thats my point....

At this point, Urban does not NEED Dunn.  If Dunn wants to go to OSU and beat Michigan four years in a row, he can.  If not, Meyer will have no problem at all getting a bigger named back in next years recruiting class.  I love Brionte and would hate to see him go there, but bottom line is that he is not that difficult to replace.  As far as Green-Becham goes though, there is only one receiver spot left and hes not going to get it.  OSU is not even recruiting him that much, and its a pipe dream, even though who in their right mind wouldnt want him?  O LINE is where the focus is right now, and ATHLETES, and I have no doubt Urban will get what he needs.

The one name I didn't see approving and really need to see is Brionte Dunn. I know Meyer has contacted him and told him how excited he was to have a big back like him coming in. Meyer also explained to Dunn how he was never able to get that big back at Florida while he was there, how he was forced to use tebow in that role. I have faith that Dunn will honer his commitment but it would be nice to hear from him. Maybe I missed somethingh?
Also, Green-Beckham could be a big target forBraxton. Ohio State is usually loaded with NFL recievers and they have talent at the position BUT it didn't show up this year at all. Too many lapses in concentration and injuries from Philly Brown too. Recruit WR hard this year. you can NEVER have enough CB's or WR's.... Thats what seperates big time programs, DB's....

Some of these Ohio State recruits are not happy about playing on a team with a spread offense. Meyer is going to lose some of these kids you can count on it. This ad saying they are excited about Meyer comming i think is bull crap!

11/29 Recruiting Roundup

The article about the Ohio State recruits is very biased to the recruits in the state of Ohio. The day after Meyers hire was announced one of our offensive recruits said he was going to look elsewhere because he didn't see himself fitting into a spread offense. I think we are going to be seeing some changes in who we've been looking at, or are getting a second look from. Meyer's ability to pick up recruits from his old stomping grounds in the south and the traditional OSU schools in the midwest could give OSU an edge. We'll have to see how that goes.
