  Steve Spurrier thinks his new extension will help recruiting.

  New Illinois head coach Tim Beckman says he'll recruit the state as hard as anyone.

  Michigan had a decommitment from cornerback Anthony Standifer.

  Urban Meyer is a recruiting threat to Michigan State and Michigan. Bri'onte Dunn is solid to the Buckeyes.

  Oregon offensive lineman Mark Asper had some interesting things to say about being recruited by BYU.

  Georgia extended an offer to junior running back Tyren Jones.

  Defensive lineman Tyler Nero will take an official visit to Arkansas in January.

  Mississippi State added JUCO defensive end Denico Autry.

The old ball coach will be fine; Steve is no starnger to problems or the cure.  He'll be busy getting ready to beat Nebraska in the bowl game and worry about double secret probation later on.

I wonder if Steve Spurrier thinks probation will help recruiting?  South Carolina football is on NCAA probation.
