Urban Meyer has taken over Ohio State and quickly brought in a defensive line class that rivals any in the country. The latest addition came Sunday with Harrisburg (Pa.) five-star Noah Spence, who committed on his official visit to Columbus on Sunday.

"I am committed to Ohio State and I just decided to do it before the Under-Armour game," Spence told Scout. "I We went into Urban Meyer's office and I said Coach I am done and I want to be a part of the Buckeye Nation. I'd still like to announce on TV where I am going, but I didn't want to wait anymore."

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Spence is ranked as the nation's top defensive end and number three overall prospect by Maxpreps. He held scholarship offers from just about every program from coast-to-coast but the comfort factor with Meyer and Ohio State allowed him to commit while on his visit.

"It feels so great, I am truly blessed," he said. "Feels like I got the monkey off my back and I thank God for being with me every step of the way and for blessing myself and my family."

Spence is the Buckeyes' 19th commitment for the class of 2012 and joins fellow top 100 recruits Se'Von Pittman and Tommy Schutt on the defensive line. He amassed 98 tackles and 12.5 sacks during his senior season and should compete for a starting spot early on at Ohio State.

"He blends great size with speed, quickness, and power," analyst Tom Lemming said of Spence. "He has a keen sense for the football and uses it on every down. Remarkably active with a terrific burst, he's able to rip off blocks with strong hands and tremendous natural strength."

Michigan gave up 4 years for nothing. All we had to do was forfet one season and what 1 scholarship a year for 5 years. Oh yeah this years bucks lost the 5 players that were caught. So in the end give up as little as possible. Sorry the NCAA shows itself as the joke in this whole mess. Also Michigan shows itself as really stupid for the self imposed punishment it gave itself. At least we all learned our lesson CHEAT BETTER not less.

Scorned Michigan Fan, grow the fuck up and stop whining like a little bitch.  Michigan sucks and has sucked for sometime.  You ink out one win against the buckeyes and you talk like this has been going on forever and a day.  Michigan is getting better, thank god, you can only watch paint dry ever so often, but quit attacking and stop being a hater.  In your heart, you are jealous and worried.  And by the way, sanctions wont keep ohio state from still kicking your ass year in and year out.  Happy Trails, trails of tears that is.  Do you need a Kleenex?

With all the talent meyer has been getting, he will get a chance to prove heis really ggod  coach, which i think he is.meyr did a goodjob at Utah, but that was in a little league. He was lucky or good enough to reqruit Tebow, which is why hehas 2 national championships. Now is he can recruit a real good spread ofense quarterback. With all the defensive talent already at Ohio State and I'm sure there are several good running backs in the mix. He can hit the ground running. I don't believe he took thejob because he is from Ohio.He took them job beause he thought there was enough talent to win now.

Only a $eye fan would be proud of beating UM while they cheated...but who cares right, only if you can beat Michigan.  When Tressel left, O$U fans were begging at his doorstep to come back, now you have Urban Meyer you act like everything is back to normal now.  By the way, UM still is ahead in the all time record..AND we didn't have to cheat to do it.  And nice try downplaying this past season, its not like you guys lost all of your talent, and UM didn't have half the talent O$U still you can shove your excuses.  You bring up these minor practice infractions like it's at all a comparison...yea it was a slap on the wrist, but it has nothing to do with getting the upper hand in recruiting..and that's why O$U has the most NCAA infractions in the country.  Sorry, you cant cheat anymore, so come back to reality..and if Urban Meyer does have success, you really think he'll be sticking around forever? and if he doesnt have success..he'll bail just like he did on Florida.

Did you hear we still have a better recruiting class than you today? Do you remember you still have NCAA sanctions pending?  What is it like to have  Casey Anthony a part of your fan base?  Very suiting I would imagine.

wow, Michigan fans show their jealousy of buckeye nation on a daily basis, with these complete asinine posts.  Keep the hate going, it empowers buckeye nation, and only diminishes the state up north.

Nobody coach huh?  That must be how an O$U fan describes a genuine coach who isn't a dirty lying that case, I'll take a "nobody" coach all day.

And that brings me to the whole "cesspool" comment...coming from a person that probably has never been to Michigan, or Ann Arbor for that matter. When I think of cesspool, I think of dirty, filthy, and disgusting, etc...kind of like the slime that your program has been polluting the B1G ten with over the last decade.  It cracks me up how you lemmings were ready to follow Tressel over the cliff after he "resigned", and now your all over Urban Meyer's balls...and the guy hasn't even won a game, and you still haven't gotten the results from the NCAA yet...remember, you're going to have to cheat very carefully now.

Dont get me wrong, Urban Meyer has proved to be successful, I mean, look at what he did to you last time O$U played them.  So hold that Urban Meyer blow up doll should be proud.

P.S., say hi to Casey Anthony for me.

It has to suck to be a scUM fan knowing you were lucky to hold off a 6-6 OSU squad at home in one of our worst seasons on and off the field and then watch as they hired one of the top coaches and recruiters in the nation. It has to be painful to know that we may even be even better than the last decade under JT when we owned you. You have every reason to cry and be depressed and I sincerely hope that you are. I hope you enjoyed the blip on the radar. Things are going to return to normal in the Big 10 very soon. We will be playing in National Championship games and you'll be back to being the second rate prgram you've been for the last decade with Fred Flintstone now at the helm. If you thought the last ten years were hard for you to watch you haven't seen anything yet. It's going to be all about Urban Meyer and Buckeye dominance. Get used to it weasels. I'll be there at OSU next season for the first of many scUM beatdowns at the hands of Urban Meyer. Meanwhile, try to keep those practices a little shorter next season. It won't help anyway. I love how a program busted for cheating on practice times throws stones for tatoos and timecards. Aren't you on probation? We'd kick your ass with or without ink! Go Bucks!!! OH-

Did you hear about 5* DE Noah Spence becoming a Buckeye today?
