Urban Meyer has taken over Ohio State and quickly brought in a defensive line class that rivals any in the country. The latest addition came Sunday with Harrisburg (Pa.) five-star Noah Spence, who committed on his official visit to Columbus on Sunday.

"I am committed to Ohio State and I just decided to do it before the Under-Armour game," Spence told Scout. "I We went into Urban Meyer's office and I said Coach I am done and I want to be a part of the Buckeye Nation. I'd still like to announce on TV where I am going, but I didn't want to wait anymore."

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Spence is ranked as the nation's top defensive end and number three overall prospect by Maxpreps. He held scholarship offers from just about every program from coast-to-coast but the comfort factor with Meyer and Ohio State allowed him to commit while on his visit.

"It feels so great, I am truly blessed," he said. "Feels like I got the monkey off my back and I thank God for being with me every step of the way and for blessing myself and my family."

Spence is the Buckeyes' 19th commitment for the class of 2012 and joins fellow top 100 recruits Se'Von Pittman and Tommy Schutt on the defensive line. He amassed 98 tackles and 12.5 sacks during his senior season and should compete for a starting spot early on at Ohio State.

"He blends great size with speed, quickness, and power," analyst Tom Lemming said of Spence. "He has a keen sense for the football and uses it on every down. Remarkably active with a terrific burst, he's able to rip off blocks with strong hands and tremendous natural strength."

Just read this from someone else. Did you Nut fans ever stop to think that the suspensions had A LOT to do with your record?? You didn't even have your best WR until game 11 of the season and he made a huge difference in the passing attack. Gee, I wonder why MAC talent that has been coached up incredibly had a hard time with Big 10 talent in an arch rivalry game. Until Idiot Rod screwed Michigan over, there hadn't been a single blasting by either school in what seems like decades. Way to diminish your own team's players and thier effort.

Let's all hope Urban Meyer has another heart attack.  Last time I checked, heartburn after eating spicy food isn't a heart attack but Meyer is too retarded to know the difference..

Did Meyer have numerous sanctions at Florida?  I guess they don't follow him when he abruptly quits one program and goes to another.  Meyer cheats more than Sandusky cheated on his wife with boys.  My guess is Meyer is doing something illegally to get these recruits to come to OSU.  He's the biggest piece of shit in the world.  Hope you have another "heart attack" Meyer...

I hate Michigan as much as the next guy but you Ohio State fans that think Urban Meyer is going to be at Ohio State for 5 or more years really need to get a clue and try to gain some intelligence.

Take a look at every program Meyer has been at.  Florida was his longest tenure and his EXCUSE of his health was bull and anyone with common sense knows it.  He left Florida because the cupboard was empty.  He retired then unretired thinking well maybe I can win with these guys I mean I only really lost my boyfriend TeBLOW right?  Only to not win many games and realize the last bits of talent he had was gonna graduate so he used the health issues excuse again.

I know youre thinking what proof do you have of this.  He said health and to be with his family, but the day he interviewed with CBS sports his daughter had some important playoff game.  What a family man huh?  Wish my parents would have been there for me like he is there for his family.

Expect Meyer to be around for 3 years then make some sorry ass excuse for why he has to leave and then after he retires or is forced out expect the cupboard to be bare and the next coach to have to rebuild the program from scratch which will take 2 maybe 3 years.

Meyer is a cancer any I pit any program that has him as a coach.  And the reason I feel for you Buckeyes fans is when he leaves Ohio State Michigan will probably beat you 2 or 3 years in a row and I HATE HATE HATE that.

I'm wagering this young man to graduate with a different head coach at OSU.  ("I CAN'T Handle the PRESSURE...where's my family!?!")

The Haters are out in full force .  Poor babies.    SEC fans---  your 5-6 year run will be ending soon--after your grey shirting rule is disallowed--and all of sudden you wont have those 15-20 extra players to chose from AND then youll be forced to compete on a level playing field like the rest of us.   OH,  for ALL of you others complaining about two coaching staffs--Urban cant coach till after the bowl game but ONLY recruit till then AND its ALLOWABLE per NCAA rules .  AND has been USED in  the past by Ariz State, Michigan and others and  FYI Illinois has  JUST applied for and been given  permission for use of dual coaches as well.  And 40-34 score???.  Are you really proud of that -- at home, against a freshman QB , lame duck coach and your SUPPOSEDLY improved defense???  Pleeeezze-- best be savoring that so called victory ( frosh Miller overthrew 3 TDs  and you KNOW it) cuz you arent likely to see many more  for awhile.  I bet you and the rest of the BIG are shaking in their boots --looks like you need to get used to  domination again ,  huh??  jealously....plain and simple

You mean like the Joke taking Kalis.  Please shut it.  You and your formerly elite program had their one year.  Barely beat an average OSU team at home.  Plan on losing for a LONG time.  Urban will be showing the Joke how it is to coach.

Just like TRUE losers, they can't enjoy the win over an average OSU team. They "The team Up North" are now worried about Urban Meyers. Don't worry in two years we Buckeye Fans will get our home away from home back, Michigan Stadium. I love the idea they believe with one win in nine years, they believe they have the right to say anything. SAD
