Baylor and TCU have had a longtime rivalry dating back to their Southwest Conference days and it should only grow as the two programs join the same conference. Things should heat up as the two battle for players in the lead up to Signing Day and Linden (Texas) running back Rashodrick Linwood made things that much more interesting as he flipped his commitment from the Horned Frogs to the Bears on Friday.

"It was the right decision for me overall,'' Linwood told "I'm very happy.''

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound speedster committed to TCU in the middle of June. He was lightly recruited following his pledge and didn't hold any other BCS offers but felt comfortable switching to Baylor right before Signing Day.

"I really like the coaches and how they treat their players,'' he said. "I can't wait to graduate in May and get down there.''

Linwood becomes the 21st commitment for the Bears' class of 2012. He rushed for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns last season as a senior.
