CBSSports.com senior writer Brett McMurphy reported on Thursday morning that Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano was leaving the school to take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers job. Needless to say, this will have a huge impact on the Scarlet Knights program going forward, starting with their promising recruiting class which was ranked in the top 25 by most and was all set to sign next week.

Maxpreps' Stephen Spiewak is plugged into the state of New Jersey and the Rutgers program and took some time to examines how their head coach's surprising move to the NFL might impact recruiting for the program.

Schiano leaves, what's next for Rutgers?

What's next for Rutgers is they are going to have to make a good hire. They have momentum and need to keep it going, I think a hire like Bon Diaco would be the best fit. Being an ND fan I would hate this move but Diaco is the best choice, he's got the roots, he has the expierence and he can recruit in NJ. I hope they hire him afetr NSD but I would be worried aboutt hat move if I was ND,
