Hopkins (Minn.) High wide receiver Andre McDonald's recruitment seems to have ended right where it started.

After originally committing to Minnesota last February, Hopkins re-opened his recruitment and verbally committed to Vanderbilt in September.

A commitment that lasted until this month when McDonald decided to reevaluate his options once again, and according to 247sports, he's once again back in the fold with the Gophers.

The 6'3 195-pound receiver is one of the most prolific receivers in Minnesota high school history. McDonald's 39 touchdown catches rank him fourth all-time in Minnesota high school history, and his 2,699 receiving yards are fifth all time. Consider that both Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd played their high school football in Minnesota and his rankings become even more impressive.

McDonald had offers from other Big Ten schools like Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State and Ohio State.
