Alabama currently sits atop the CBS Sports top 25 class rankings heading into Signing Day and, it appears, the Crimson Tide are well on their way to topping next year's version. Already with a commitment from one of the top linebackers in the class of 2013, Nick Saban added a pledge from Little Rock (Ark.) running back Altee Tenpenny during the program's first Junior Day on Saturday, according to multiple recruiting services.

The 5-foot-10, 200-pound back was named a Maxpreps top junior and figures to be somewhere in the initial top 100 list for next year's class. Tenpenny was one of just three underclassmen at last summer's The Opening at Nike headquarters and held offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He was injured during the first game last season but rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2010.

Tenpenny becomes the sixth commitment for the Crimson Tide in the class of 2013, joining Fultondale (Ala.) athlete Ardarius Stewart in committing Saturday.
