Defensive end Michael Onuoha put an end to any speculation about where he'd be commiting to on Wednesday when he tweeted "Boomer Sooner."

The Oklahoma native told SoonerScoop.com that staying close to home played a big factor in his decision.

"I just took it upon myself, I sat down, thought about it, I prayed about it, I talked to my parents, and I can't even go into all that I went over. Ultimately I made my decision on where I should go," said Onuoha. "I made my decision on how far Missouri is from Oklahoma and family always come first for me. I don't want to be all the way in Missouri because if anything happens I want my family to have my back.

"I just felt like Oklahoma was the best place for me."

The three-star defensive end checks in at 6-foot-7, 225 pounds. He becomes the 22nd commitment in Oklahoma's class, and the third defensive end.
