The entire college football world has been wondering where wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham would play his college ball, and the kid known as DGB put an end to the suspense on Wednesday morning.

Green-Beckham announced that he'd be signing his letter of intent to play at Missouri, choosing to stay closer to home.

The other schools in the running for Green-Beckham's services were Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Obviously, this is a huge signing for Missouri and head coach Gary Pinkel as the school gets ready to join the SEC. You need playmakers to win in the SEC, and the Tigers may have signed the best one available.

Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 225 pounds, Green-Beckham is considered the top player in the country by MaxPreps, and has often been compared to Randy Moss thanks to his size, athleticism and skill.

"It's taken 17 years but I've finally found a wide receiver who is as good as Randy Moss," says Tom Lemming. "For years I've said Randy Moss was the best high school player I have seen, and Mr. Beckham has similar skills. He has great size, long arms, a true F.A.T. 100-meter time of 10.5, and superior production. The nation's No. 1 player, he appears to have no weaknesses. He will be the most celebrated prep football player in the country."

No word on whether or not this signing will lead to a giant boost in helicopter rentals.

The Hogs beat a&m at a neutral. Okie State, Mizzou and UT all beat them in College Station. It's a lot more impressive to beat them on their home turf. Two weeks ago, this Horn predicted DGB would sign with Mizzou and I was right, just like he was to stay in state.<br />

Dont live in the past...Arkansas beat Mizzou a few years before that.  And when you all did beat us we had an interim coach because Nutt wasnt there anymore.  Lets look at the body of work in the last few years and see what each team has done!

"But you know who else had to mount a furious fourth quarter comeback to beat A&M last year, Okie State."

And people pleaded that they should be in the National Championship!  So maybe Arkansas wasnt that overrated!

Why would he go to ArKansas when they will never get past LSU and Bama. Home is where the Heart is and  and for all you nay sayers ewwwwwwwwwww    jealousy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the kid wants to play at home to be with family and friends then more power to him. He made his bed and now he will sleep in it. I hope he enjoys watching this years bowl games from his couch with his "family and friends". We'll see who is jealous after the season. Just because you are now playing in the SEC doesn't mean you have an SEC team.

Did you see the Kansas State players getting knocked out of the cotton bowl? Picture that week end and week out in the SEC! Mizzery's number 2s and 3s better be SEC caliber players!

Maybe Mizzou will meet Arkansas in a bowl next year and destroy them like they did in 08?  That works for me.

Driving to Arkansas from Springfield is the WORST drive in America. Property taxes on single wide trailers can't pay for good roads! jealousy is ugly and so is your sate!

This kid will beast regardless of where he plays.....Their will be no and I repeat....NO SEC team that will stop him...Bigger faster stronger then any db in the SEC....He will be a beast......

Yes he will be a beast. He will play in the NFL. He will probably be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft when he does come out. But it takes more than one wide receiver to win a title - ask Georgia (A.J. Green), South Carolina (Alshon Jeffery) and Georgia Tech (Calvin Johnson). One thing people don't take into account is this kid has never been hit like he will get hit in the SEC. While he is the closest thing to a can't-miss prospect as you can get, there is no such thing as a sure thing in recruiting. Congratulations Missouri and Tiger fans. Just don't think one kid is going to win you an SEC or national championship.
