The entire college football world has been wondering where wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham would play his college ball, and the kid known as DGB put an end to the suspense on Wednesday morning.

Green-Beckham announced that he'd be signing his letter of intent to play at Missouri, choosing to stay closer to home.

The other schools in the running for Green-Beckham's services were Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Obviously, this is a huge signing for Missouri and head coach Gary Pinkel as the school gets ready to join the SEC. You need playmakers to win in the SEC, and the Tigers may have signed the best one available.

Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 225 pounds, Green-Beckham is considered the top player in the country by MaxPreps, and has often been compared to Randy Moss thanks to his size, athleticism and skill.

"It's taken 17 years but I've finally found a wide receiver who is as good as Randy Moss," says Tom Lemming. "For years I've said Randy Moss was the best high school player I have seen, and Mr. Beckham has similar skills. He has great size, long arms, a true F.A.T. 100-meter time of 10.5, and superior production. The nation's No. 1 player, he appears to have no weaknesses. He will be the most celebrated prep football player in the country."

No word on whether or not this signing will lead to a giant boost in helicopter rentals.

HogFan

Don't be upset because Fayetville and Wal-Mart money couldn't buy DGB! He's going to a pass happy where they will feed him the rock 2-3 times a series. Mizzou turned Maclin into a first round pick and they will turn DGB into a top 5 pick overall. Also, please don't be jealous of my 7th grade education. Say hi to Mike Anderson for us, he is NOT missed!

kansas is so happy that mizzou is in the SEC now. sux for mizzou bc now they cant depend on that free-win at the end of every season. kansas has a decent basketball team some years and has actually won 2 championships in the last 50 years yet their football program has been a mess. i dont why kansas fans get so jealous of missouri football? we could care less when your basketball team gets a #1 or #2 seed in the basketball tournement? but we do get a great laugh when kansas gets bounced outa the tournement every year by some underdog! kansas is nothing but a red-headed step-child to texas. texas takes half the money in the big 12 and makes the other 9 (w/e it is now) schools split the other half. silly kansas.....

Some Jayhawks are just so damned dumb.

You have this lightbulb show up on a thread about a football recruit picking Mizzou, solely to mouth Mizzou and then he drops this little gem.......

Here you have a group of fans who cannot feel good about their team, no matter how successful they may be, unless they are putting down their division rival.

How about go browse some of those Jayhawk recruiting news articles?   I imagine someone wrote something somewhere right?
