The entire college football world has been wondering where wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham would play his college ball, and the kid known as DGB put an end to the suspense on Wednesday morning.

Green-Beckham announced that he'd be signing his letter of intent to play at Missouri, choosing to stay closer to home.

The other schools in the running for Green-Beckham's services were Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Obviously, this is a huge signing for Missouri and head coach Gary Pinkel as the school gets ready to join the SEC. You need playmakers to win in the SEC, and the Tigers may have signed the best one available.

Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 225 pounds, Green-Beckham is considered the top player in the country by MaxPreps, and has often been compared to Randy Moss thanks to his size, athleticism and skill.

"It's taken 17 years but I've finally found a wide receiver who is as good as Randy Moss," says Tom Lemming. "For years I've said Randy Moss was the best high school player I have seen, and Mr. Beckham has similar skills. He has great size, long arms, a true F.A.T. 100-meter time of 10.5, and superior production. The nation's No. 1 player, he appears to have no weaknesses. He will be the most celebrated prep football player in the country."

No word on whether or not this signing will lead to a giant boost in helicopter rentals.

SC_DYNASTY_5 is a Jayhawk fan posing as a Trojan. What a fake!  Thats why he's smack-talking with a SC logo.  He's so embarassed to be associated with that KU that he's changed his avatar.  Ha!  What joke!

The poor kid is going to find out the hard way what the phrase "Getting Pinkeled" means. Fortunately, he seems to have enough talent that even Pinkel can't screw up his future prospects.

Just hate Mizzou as they are a wannabeeee!  The MU fans think their program is on par with the big boys of college football.
Not even close.  Dont know  who the recruit is who you are talking about.
He s obviously not that good or he wouldnt be going to Mizzou. He d sign with an actual college football team.
SC, Ohio St, Bama, Michgan, teams that actually win championships! (USC is currently 12 or 13 in the nation, where is the ZOO?)

I noticed you didnt argue the facts:  No titles, etc.

Facts are a pesky thing!

Fight ON!

"I'm sure DGB found the fact that Arkansas's last football championship was 1964 very tempting. "

Compared to Mizzou's last football championship......When???  LOL

That "complete shambles" excuse is a load.  Arkansas was still a great team, they still had the Heisman Trophy winner.  Did the coaching staff forget how to coach?  Was the team so distraught that they couldn't handle having their coach fired?  If the team couldn't get up for a bowl game against a team that should have gone to a BCS bowl, maybe Arkansas didn't deserve to be there.

SC_DYNASY_5:  Why do you care?  You don't play Mizzou, you weren't in contention for DGB, you won't be facing him.  Are you still mad that you weren't able to grab Sheldon Richardson from us?

When Arkansas lost to Mizzou in the 2007 Cotton Bowl, they did so with the defensive coordinator calling the plays. Nutt had just been FIRED, along with the AD and Chancellor being forced out as well. Though the team had a decent year, the program was in complete shambles for the bowl game. Mizzou fans can brag about the win, but they should put an asterik beside it!!

Mizzou is a joke. The only team in their division of the SEC they are OUT recruiting is Kentucky!!!
They barely have a winning record vs Kansas over a hundred plus years!!!!!!!!!!!! KANSAS? FOOTBALL?

No Big 12 titles no NATIONAL TITLES, NO BCS BOWL WINS.

IRRELEVANT.  Beckham will be good on 5 and 6 win teams. (IF their running qb can get the ball to him)  It s like  the number 1 bball recruit going to Texas Tech or Nebraska instead of UK, Duke, UNC, KU etc.

Good luck with that SEC thing

FIGHT ON!

"their win over SC wasnt very impressive either since they were without one of the best Rb's in country"

Arkansas stomped SC the year before when Lattimore was healthy and playing. We shut him down. Arkansas was without its star running back (Knile Davis) ALL SEASON (who was the SEC's leading rusher last year....ahead of Lattimore and Trent Richardson). He will be back next year. Bama and LSU both were hurt due to graduation and early NFL. Arkansas will be the team to beat in the SEC West next year....with or without DGB!!
