Second verse, same as the first: another blue-chip Florida prospect has elected to follow Lane Kiffin to the West Coast.

This time it's top athlete Nelson Agholor, who chose to sign with USC over Florida, Florida State and Notre Dame. A consensus five-star prospect (including at Maxpreps) from Berkeley Prep in Tampa, the 6'2", 185-pound Agholor is ranked No. 13 overall in the Maxpreps top 100 and the No. 1 athlete in the class.

Though Agholor could also have a professional future in the defensive backfield, he is expected to play wide receiver for the Trojans.

"I love to opportunity to play alongside Marqise Lee and Robert Woods," he said in his televised announcement. "I really dealt with some great people over there."

From Tom Lemming's evaluation of Agholor for Maxpreps:
Before I got to Tampa everyone was talking about Mr. Agholor. Like Shaq Roland, he has what it takes to become an outstanding WR or DB at the next level and also a punt and kickoff return specialist. He makes everything look easy and is a natural athlete ... On defense shows terrific instincts, quick reactions, reads quarterbacks well, shows superior quickness, can turn his hips, and has the height, leaping ability, and smooth backpedal to dominate receivers. On the other side of the ball he's a sure handed receiver with all the way kind of speed, and he uses his balance, instincts, and agility that he uses on the defensive side of the ball.
The Trojans' 2012 class currently ranks 12th in the CBS Sports National Signing Day Top 25 but should be due for a move up after the additions of Agholor, Leonard Williams, and Devian Shelton

It must be a terrible feeling sucking hind teat behind Ohio State each year.

Are you still pissed because Michigan was defeated in the Rose Bowl by SC 28-14? You might as well get over that.

The penalty will affect us for the next 2 seasons as far as the number of scholarships are concerned. We have recently finished our probation and are now able to go to bowl games once again.

We have such a good team with our Heisman hopeful quarterback returning that we are ranked in the top 5 in the pre season polls.  We are even picked as a potential team to play in the BCS championship game.

You can bet it would not be like the one we just witnessed.

Hate is such a strong word. What did our esteemed, well respected head coach do to set your water to boil? Are you a Lane Kiffen hater?

We will be  ok in the coming couple of seasons that would get us partially through the scholarship restrictions.

We have  core group of  sophomores returning that were impact players last season. Therefore we have at least 2 years of service from this core group

Were attracting 5 star recruits from other states and getting the cream from California, though the numbers might not be as great, we are getting potential quality

I think we have 2-3 more that could be recruited. There were 3-4 that have enrolled at SC, therefore they are not counted against this recruiting class but against the 2011 class.

Lane and his staff are doing a great job, brining in the top players from around the nation, as we have in past history of the glory years of Trojan football history.

I agree I know the NCAA must be pissed to the max. Pat and Lane out smarted them, getting an extra year of recruiting last year so we could load up for  the next three season.

I"m sure the NCAA isn't pleased with USC doing so well but to Hell with them. The NCAA is so full of hypocrisy that I have no respect
for what they say or do. They pretend to care but the only thing they care about is money that goes directly in their pockets and their
obvious bias against the West Coast.

They go after USC and put them on probration for what one player did. Pete Carroll proved to them that he knew nothing about an
Agent paying the mortgage on Reggie Bush's parents home. And how could Pete Carroll know about that???? No coach could.

But the whole Miami program is on a house boat with Strippers and a boaster who's paying for the strippers and giving multiple
players money, cars and other aminities but the NCAA turns their heads away from that.

Tressell of Ohio St. knew his players where doing things illegally and Tressell tried to hide the information from the NCAA yet all the Buckeyes get is a one year bowl ban??

It's very obvious to everyone here on the West Coast that the NCAA has a clear bias and when we get a chance to stick it to the
NCAA, you can best believe we will.

**ck the NCAA.

Well if you hate Lane Kiffin you may as well clean off your hater shades.  We just landed another 4 star CB as the 16th recruit and we have one more spot open I believe? It is really amazing that USC can out recruit all but less than ten teams in the nation while under sanctions.
What the fuck?  Dude, I said that I hate Lane Kiffin...Not USC, not your 4 star CB, not you...

I'm not a hater, I just don't like the dude....Is that okay with you?

" Enjoy the ranked recruiting classes of big head, me- first clowns, and simply rank seasons.  Remember, your coach is still Lame Kitten"

oh boy......another uninformed hater.

all those "big head, me first clowns" kids have been dropped from the program in the last year and are out of school at USC.  If your statement is true, why are Woods and Lee and others on USC consistently praised by national media outlets for their team first attitude and great attention to the little things in football that make both the team and player great?

You are mediocre. Will you even be relevant this season? LSU is reloaded, South Carolina is reloaded, Georgia too. Youll be lucky to get out of your conference at .500. I love your coach but as a Longhorn where he helped them win. The post Tebow era at Florida hasnt really treated you very well. When Lame Kitten is on top the rankings this year ill wait to hear your excuse for losing to Jacksonville State.
