Cubbage 32 correct bracketology 1/21

Posted on: January 21, 2013 11:03 pm

Hello again everyone! I waited a little longer this year to get started with this, so this is my first bracketology thread of the season.  This bracket also takes into account tonight's Georgetown victory over Notre Dame.  (Obviously this is my first one this year since I'm awesome and missed Louisville.  My apologies to the Cardinal nation out there).

Couple of explanations... I do not have Virginia in my bracket right now because they have too many bad losses.  I didn't just look at their RPI (120s) and throw them out, but even though they have wins at Wisconsin and against North Carolina and FSU, the losses are terrible and too much to overcome at this point.

Iowa is my last team in after its win against Wisconsin.  I dont think eight teams will make the NCAA tournament when it's all said and done, but right now Iowa has the best resume of the teams trying to get the last few spots available.

Obviously, at this point it's like throwing darts, there just is not a lot of seperation with the final few at-large teams, so let's hope teams begin to separate themselves over the next 6 weeks.

As always, I do the bracket the way I feel it would look like if the tournament started TODAY, not how I think it will look in March.  Automatic bids are in all CAPS
