Center Dave Bolland, out since March 9 when he suffered a concussion against Tampa Bay, returned to the ice today for a skate. As of now it's not known when he will be available to return to action, but it won't matter if the 'Hawks don't get into the playoffs to defend their Cup.
"Bolland is progressing at a different pace than he was before which is encouraging," Quenneville said following the Hawks' morning skate at Joe Louis Arena. It was later confirmed by ESPN Chicago that Bolland did, in fact, get on the ice.
