We don't know who will be playing the Canucks in the Stanley Cup Finals, but we know when the games will be played.

Game 1 will start in Vancouver on Wednesday, June 1 -- it just seems so wrong playing hockey in June, but I digress. Game 2 won't be played until Saturday, an extra day off thrown in because of arena conflicts.

If the series goes to a Game 7, it won't come until Wednesday June 15.

Every game, despite being in different time zones, will start at 8 ET, which equals a 5 o'clock puck drop in Vancouver. I'm sure there will be plenty of "doctor's appointments" or whatever other excuse you can come up with to get out of work early.

All games will be broadcast on either NBC or Versus in the U.S.

Stanley Cup Finals schedule is set

Yup totaly! Butheads approval of a sced that has 5 days off between series than a 3 day wait for game 2 is a farce. The conference final should have had game 7 done by thursday at latest, and game 1 on Saturday night. AND NO AFTERNOON GAMES!!!  Its bad enough they are  playing games in may and june for criing out loud, but afternoon games in the spring,,,well i guess thats what highlight shows are for, even some diehard fans  dont bother wasting a weekend afternoon watching the games. The sced sucks they have to end the playoffs by middle of May at the latest, let alone june. LOL heres your cup traiing camp opens next week almost yesh.

Stanley Cup Finals schedule is set

Oh is this going to be like two years ago when they announced the finals would begin on June 2nd - the the Wings beat chicago in 5 and Gary BUTTHEAD allowed NBC to move games one and two back to back with only 2 days rest?? You know, the Wings that were beat up and needed the 5 plus days off to get healthy. What joke! F off BUTTMAN YOU FREAKING TROLL DOLL.
