I'm done

I have been on this site for nearly two years and have come to call many of you guys friends over that span. At this point in time I cannot continue with my account on here because I have felt my heart be convicted of the sinful nature it has caused me to fall into. As a Christian it is important to know my motives and desires and I feel as though they have been impure. This site has brought me further and further from the One I'm supposed to be living for. I have had an unrighteous anger towards many of you on here which was the reason I refrained from using this site for a couple weeks at the beginning of this year. To those of you I have called stupid, idiotic, ignorant, etc. I am truly sorry and wish I had never said any of those things. I know I've gotten into it with many of you and every time it's been over something trivial -- because only one thing matters to me and that is serving the Lord. I guess that may come as a shock to many of you but that is only my fault. If you didn't know I was a Christian that's because I wasn't acting like one. This is really hard for me to do but I have to close my account on here. My life has revolved around sports for too long and it's time for me to let it go.

If you'd like to know what caused me to come to this conclusion watch this video. It put me on my face and caused me to repent of my actions. I don't know if any of you have some sort of faith in God or Jesus Christ but I hope you at least click on the video and see what it's about. I finished the video about an hour ago and haven't been able to sleep because of how eye opening it was. I have Church in five hours and I doubt I get any sleep beforehand. It's important to me that you know who I live for and what my life is about even if it means I don't talk to any of you again. Tarkus has my email -- if you'd like to message me PM him for it. I won't be posting on here anymore.

I'm done

To C'est,

You will be missed. I know I will miss your wisdom and charm, ok maybe not always. but mostly. I wish you nothing but the best in your future and hope someday that you comeback to chat with us folks.

Maybe you shouldn't chat during the game if that is what's bothering you. If it's the posts after the game, I have been guilty as well for going overboard. I was very deeply into sports- now that I have been on here for a few years my thoughts and emotions have mellowed. Yeah, there are sometimes I want to make a knee jerk reaction or get upset about something said about my favorite team or player. But, now I don't respond right away, I give myself sometime to process what was said and get over the irrational thoughts I want to vent.

Here's hoping you come back. And as always thta's just my 2 cents.

enjoyed many of your posts CLV and did feel as though we were friends. Sad to see you go but your reasoning is understood, sports is just a hobby of sorts for me but being Catholic and having faith is more important to me as well. Good to see your taking up the good fight, good luck in wherever life takes you
