Georgia Tech made it a priority to keep in-state kids at home under new head coach Brian Gregory.
It started earlier this month when Chris Bolden popped for the Yellow Jackets, and continued on Friday morning.
Marcus Hunt, ranked No. 88 in our Top 100, committed to Georgia Tech, a source told CBSSports.com.
Hunt, a North Clayton (Ga.) product, had upwards of 20 offers, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Miami (Fl.), Georgetown, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Tennessee, South Carolina, Memphis, Louisville and others.
He is a 6-foot-6 small forward that uses his strength and size to make plays in the lane. He can finish against bigger players around the rim, and doesn’t shy away from contact. Hunt has improved his perimeter game and his ball-handling ability, making him even more of an asset on the wing.
