Tampa Bay  Receive:
20) Matt Rizzotti, 1B, Grade C: Flipside of the last three prospects. Rizzotti can hit, but is limited defensively and blocked in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia  Receive:

This trade is slight favoring the Tamba Rays but the trade will be approved. Matt Joyce had an exellent first half of the 2011 season. Joyce was rewarded for his first half efforts by being selected to the 2011 All Star game. Joyce brings a consistant bat to the Phillies lineup that will help solidify the Phillies roster as being in the top 10 on the offensive side. The Rays add an excellent prospect to go alongside Desmond Jennings (#1 prospect), Josh Sale (#5 prospect) and Brandon Guyer (#10 prospect) to form the best combination of out field prospects in their minor league system.

Chicago  receive

  • Blake Beaven (#8 prospect)
  • Ramon Morla (#13 prospect)
  • Tijuan Walker (#4 prospect)

Seattle  receive:

  • Josh Vitters (#5 prospect)
  • Reggie Golden (#9 prospect)
  • Austin Kirk (#17 prospect)
17) Austin Kirk, LHP, Grade C+: Breakthrough candidate for 2011.

This trade is accepted and will be added to the Trade Center. If their are any trade announcements that I haven't go to then please send them to. I will try to catch up on all trades and have the accepted ones posted in the Trade Center at some point tonight. Thank You and God Bless you all.

The  and  have agreed on 2 trades.

Trade 1

San Diego trades  RP to Kansas City for Cheslor Cuthbert & Clint Robinson

Trade 2

San Diego trades  to Kansas City for John Lamb, Christian Colon & Willian Avinazar

Looking for a big yep on these trades.

Trade #1:
The Mike Adams to the Kansas City Royals for Cheslor Cuthbert and Clint Robinson trade is accepted. Robinson has shown the ability to hit for power and average. Robinson stands an impressive 6'5 235lbs with an even more impressive first half to the 2011 season in Omaha. Robinson has amassed 18 HR, 63 RBIs, .325 BA and .394 OBP in just 92 games at 1B. Cuthbert has also had a good season so far at 3B with a .331 BA with 6 HR and 29 RBIS.

Trade #2
The Mat Latos to Kansas City for John Lamb, Christian Colon adn Willian Avinazar is accepted. The Royals are getting their top of the rotation starter in Latos. Latos can come in and make an immediate impact to this young and talented Royals team. The Padres gain a pitcher that has potential to be a #2 starter in Lamb, a solid SS prospect that will be good defensively and hit for average in Colon and a solid future relief pitcher in Avinazar.
