The Cincinnati Bengals have set themselves up for what could be the beginning of great things to come in the future if they continue to attain assets with the slew of high picks they have in the 2012 and 2013 NFL Draft. The Bengals have two number 1's in the 2012 draft and at the least a first round and 2 second round picks in 2013. What that means is it makes it easier to trade up for quality, or use the quantity on the correct picks. The Bengals have never had a GM, and Mike Brown has not been the best decision maker over the years, but the last couple of drafts he has succeeded better than ever. With a core of Andy Dalton, AJ Green, Jermaine Gresham as playmakers on offense, a solid running back with speed, and one more receiver they have a chance to be extremely explosive. Jordan Shipley coming back from injury will also give the offense a jolt next season, but there are some good receivers coming out this year. The Bengals selected LB Dontay Moch over RB DeMarco Murray last year and CB Brandon Ghee over RB James McKnight in 2010, so identifying a need and drafting successful talent will be an integral part for the future super bowl champs. The defense has been solid with their picks in Maualaga, Leon Hall, Carlos Dunlap, Demato Peko, and Michael Johnson, so if that trend continues than this team could be good for the next ten years. My bold prediction only will come true if the Bengals brass selects the correct players, and notice needs and getting those needs at the correct value. If the Bengals can strengthen up the right side of the offensive line, get some speed they trust at running back (PLAY Bernard Scott MORE), and add a playmaking linebacker or safety, you will definitely be seeing the Bengals in the Big game in 2013!
