How to Play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The contest runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's contest will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. If I decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when the contest ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at 0.

This contest is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

  1. Lucky German kids.  The crosswalk monitors at my school never looked like that.  I wonder if they have problems keeping the dads from "Honking their horns?"
  2. I didn't know they put ads on weapons of mass erections...oops, I meant destruction. No I didn't.
  3. Soo Lin was quickly disqualified from the beauty pagent when she was caught making fun of one of the uglier judges.
  4. The champion skaters were discovering that what happens in Vegas, really does need to stay in Vegas.
  5. Julia Roberts reminds President Obama he needs to veer "left" on the issues.

Pic 5:  "The lady's tour de France starting line is over there?  My girlfriend is racing today.  She looks like LA!  Yeah, that's her."

Females in the military around the world.

  1. The new uniforms for German female military personnel was designed for maximum distraction to the enemy.
  2. Kind of brings a whole different and more eye pleasing meaning to "Behind the lines."
  3. The North Koreans try their new uniforms too, but obiviously the combination of cheap fabric and inexpensive Chinese laundry detergents caused allergies to flare up with some members.
  4. Menbers of the Japanese elite ice skating forces, not only loved their uniforms, but enjoyed special weapons training from blue Samari warriors.  Quote heard most often, "How hard do I have to blow?"
  5. Meanwhile, the Brits were teaching their female commandos the fine art of giving misleading directions while dressed up as a bimbette usher.  "Thanks, I love my sunglasses too.  The loo is that way Mr. President."
