How to Play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The contest runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's contest will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. If I decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when the contest ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at 0.

This contest is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

1) The latest problem with eating any solid foods around Big Joe -  the security guard taking night classes to study gastroenterology - is that he'll try to get you to throw it back up if he thinks it hasn't reached full digestion yet...

4) Choosing an inexperienced company to provide security at the "White Party" can be a big mistake; here, we see security's successful implementation of one of their most underhanded methods - the irresistable "don't let the balloon touch the ground" tactic to scan the outstretched arms in the crown for African-American infiltrators.

More CBS poster themes, like this is some new idea:

1) Joe's bosses escort him from the caption pitch after he starts the day off with a bunch of 4 letter words that have to be deleated..

2) ktopp desperatly tries to prove he loves the ladies by taking pictures of any lady he can find

3) D2Moo and the rest of his retirement home friends win an award for lawscaping. They also took second in bingo!

4) The closing ceremonies for kmvenne's 4 straight caption contest victories was a lavish party that spared no expense, which makes perfect sense as soon as Mister Peabody figures out his credit card is missing.

5) BigBluMasochist's name is more accurate then we thought, as he gladly played wingman and hit on the old bat to allow the rest of us to work over the hotties.

  1. Euro cops arresting a fan who was trying to imitate a futbol player.  Now, if we could only get the KC and Cleveland cops to arrest a few people for imitating baseball players, life would be good.
  2. Paul was all smiles when he took the picture, but after his kids saw the photo on his cell phone, he got tired of answering the question, "Why doesn't mommy look like that?"
  3. The trophy went to the only four people their age who could actually swing a racket and get a ball over the net.
  4. It was an epic but messy battle to see who could pop the worlds largest bubble gum bubble.
  5. Heather preaches to some young beauties that she didn't use sunscreen, and if they didn't want to look like her, they needed to use it liberally and often.

2.) The 1st Annual GILF Olympics were met with mixed reviews. One knock was the cellphone camera used by the event's official photographer.

1.) Marco and Julio's "role playing" sometimes went a little overboard. For this rendezvous, the safe word was "Beckham."

Yeah Joe what's up with that?  You pour too much Budweiser in your Wheaties this morning?  I think that was a record - first post! Laughing

3) Larry's self-consciousness about his rapidly growing bald spot was out of hand; so much so that he'd reached a point where the lengths he'd go to cover it up were even more embarrassing than the bald spot itself.
