How to Play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The contest runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's contest will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. If I decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when the contest ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at 0.

This contest is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

1.  Although she enjoyed the hug, the women's 5000m track champion had hoped Underdog would have been there to congratulate her instead of Winnie the Pooh.

2.  "Reggie, I know you have caressed a thousand boobs, but these boobs were Madonna's, so they were like a million times better than any other boobs you or I have ever felt!  So round, muscular and soft at the same time!"

3.  At his latest press conference after coming out of retirement one more time, Favre smiled and gave the signal to his agent that his plan was finally coming to fruition.  He knew now that his dream of being in a Just For Men commercial soon would be a reality.

4.  Scott may have been the captain of the team, but he took his love for the Leave It To Beaver show a bit too far.

5.  The Polish firemen sure hoped their quarter-inch fire hose would do the trick.

1)  After this encounter,  it didn't take long for Huggy to slip into a long, deep hibernation.

Dman
2.)  The public address announcer asked that Mr. October please raise his hand.  That is as far as A-Rod’s hand got before Mr. Jackson put him in his place.

4) Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca.  Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk.  But Chewbacca lives in the country of Great Britain.  Now think about it...that does not make sense!  Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live in England and play soccer with a bunch of 6-foot tall Englishmen? That does not make sense!

5) 1930's criminal #1: "I say, that was one fine caper, robbing that spindle of wire! What do you say we take it swimming with us?"
1930's criminal #2: "Yes, we will get plenty of loot for this, see. But what if the coppers show up at the lake?"
1930's criminal #1: "It'll be curtains for them. Steel wire curtains!"

Welcome back to the Colbert Report...This is the THREATDOWN!:

1) BEARS! - Bears have always been a menace to American, and now with Obama starting to hire for his new Death Panels, we see first hand how eager bears are to hold a seat on those communals. Frightning.

2) True Yankees - When we start allowing the true Yankee winners to start co-mingling with the loser Yankees of the 21st century, it doesn't give the modern Yanks a better chance to win, it gives the True Yankees a better chance of losing, should we ever invent the ability to replay sporting events from the past. You have a past legacy to protect, Mr. October, don't let A-Rod and the space-time continuam take that away from you!

3) Vikings - For years the Vikings have lacked the leadership to rape and plunder our cities. Now led by the ultimate gunslinger, we can only expert these savage Vikings to incorporate handguns into their deadly arsenal. Noone is safe!

4) Crying - Crying in your team picture? There's no crying in soccer! Wait, what is that? I'm being told there is tons of crying in soccer. Moving on.

5) Early 20th century style swimsuits - If today's youth turns to the fashion statements of the past, what is next? Can we afford to have a second generation fall victim to the hula hoop, the sock hop, and the satanic melodies of the Big Bopper?

Thanks for letting Joe in on the inside joke, trr. The psycho that requested account termination hated being called "dude", Joe. I consider myself a dude's dude. I actually auditioned for the Dos Equis commercial as "The most interesting dude in the world" until their ill-fated decision to opt for "The most interesting man in the world". Besides, noting my affection for female anatomy, I might never leave the house if I was a chick. LOL... I guess some dudes just can't take a joke! I hope you at least kept the killer beard and sweet foreign accent.

3.  Brett finally had to admit he had signed with the Vikings when someone in the press noticed a vehicle at training camp that looked just like his and had a bumper sticker that read "I'd rather be screwing over the Packers."

These pictures are WAY to funny! I have to get in on this...

1) "Uh! You could at least try and set the mood first! You know, sometimes I think you only stay with me because of my body!"

1) On the scene of Twilight 3: "And so the bear fell in love with the athlete."

(I hope NO ONE gets that reference)

2) Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez explains the situation to the hitting coach."And I'm telling you... he just didn't care!" Rodriguez said. "I saw the lust in his eyes, and that was it." "He's a mascot , Alex" the coach replied. "He just kind of forced himself on her, like this..."

3) "Brett! Brett! What made you decide to play for the Vikings?" an inquisitive reporter asked. "Oh, I don't know," Favre replied. "I've held the Packers hostage, raped the Jets last season, and pillaged millions from you suckers this year. It just seemed like the perfect fit."

4) The economy has turned so bad that mascots have been asked to take an increased role in team activities. Scruggles, an emergency keeper, is seen here pictured with the team.

5) "I know the economy is bad, but this is ridiculous! I mean...they call this thing a news wire?"
