How to Play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The contest runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's contest will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. If I decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when the contest ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at 0.

This contest is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

I thought Matt Damon was from Baaaaastin, and would never be caught dead doing the Hokey Pokey with A-Rod?
Holy crap!! Did I really say Matt Damon? What a moron!! Of course, I meant to say JOHNNY Damon, as you all probably know. Saying Matt Damon actually makes it a little funnier thinking about him and A-Rod dancing together, but really my stupidity outweighs any funniness. Thanks Joe for not pointing that out.

I thought Matt Damon was from Baaaaastin, and would never be caught dead doing the Hokey Pokey with A-Rod?Maybe the hexy-vexy?  Besides, as I have already (accurately) pointed out, it's clearly not "I'm a Little Teapot," but rather the Macarena.  Still, I got a chuckle from Ktopp's comment.  Not like you hold us to our spelling or correctness (thankfully).

#2 - For unexplained reasons, members of the Yankees, during the 7th inning stretch, started singing children's songs. Here we see Andy Petitte dancing to "I'm a little teapot", Alex Rodriguez and Matt Damon were doing the "Hokey Pokey", Derek Jeter busted out "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and all 3 outfielders got together and did the Monkees sidewalk dance. I thought Matt Damon was from Baaaaastin, and would never be caught dead doing the Hokey Pokey with A-Rod?

1. He was already halfway through the Star Spangled Banner before anyone bothered to tell George version 1.0 that he started singing too soon and these guys weren't his backup singers.
