How to Play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The contest runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's contest will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. If I decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when the contest ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at 0.

This contest is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

It's all good guys. I'm just trying to get through a bad stretch of days and am not in the mood. I realize it's all in fun. I just don't feel very fun today. Thanks for noticing though. That's cool Mick. Everybody goes through those kind of days. Just don't let it stretch into weeks or months. If it would help, Buc said that he'd rub your shoulders for as long as you want. Seriously, I just got off the phone with him.

As a Colts fan, I find picture #5 under the title of "Women of Super Bowl XLIV" to be offensive. I'm sure everyone else will find it to be funny and think I should lighten up, and that's fine, but I came here hoping to find a laugh or two. No such luck today I guess.

I think Mick is seriously pissed off!! He hasn't posted anything all day.

I think you're right, ktopp.  That's it, Joe!  Sensativity training for you!!!

4. Who dat! Oh, it's just my boyfriend.  What dat!  Oh, it's just the mixer I told him he could spike on my head every time the Saints scored.  Why dat!  Oh, it must be my diminished intellect.

#2 - She didn't want to do it, but being in the public eye means that rudeness is a quality that can't be shown unless necessary. So Condi mustered up a fake smile and had her picture taken with Chaz Bono.

3. The guy thereafter put down the scanner and indicated that it did not work properly with physiological areas containing superfluous soft tissue.  Therefore, he explained, this would be one of two areas for which he'd have to perform hand-scanning.
