How to play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The challenge runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's competition will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. On Monday and Wednesday, Community member ktopp24 will be the judge. On Tuesday and Thursday, I'll run the show. If one of the judges decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when that day's challenge ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at zero.

This is just for fun, and there are no real prizes at this time. Who thinks they can make us laugh? :)

Photo Caption Challenge: Laser Technology!

#1 - CptMasterShake

The FBI continues to search for the Mobile, Alabama Leprechaun after losing him in a tree 4 years ago. This photo is evidence of his most recently known wear-bouts. FBI agent Tyrone stated "Where the Gold At?." An amateur sketch is expected to be released soon.

#2 - Dutch Boy

Leo got 3rd in the "just try and get to your locker" competition at the 64th Annual Bully Me Olympics. He did however place 1st in both the "made you look" and "lunch money shake-down" events.

#3 - turbozo

Billy immediately regrets shotgunning bonghits to his horse before the competition, Damn You Cottonmouth!

#4 - CptMasterShake

The NBA adopted it's first Foreign Exchange Dancer program. Luvanka, from Scandinavia proved to be quite unpopular due to her shaving etiquette.

#5 - kmvenne

There was no denying Nash played great after his eye injury, but team doctors were baffled as to why he kept trying to order some rum from an imaginary bartender at center court while rambling on about plundering some booty and complaining about "me glass eye!"

Theme - CptMasterShake

Photo #1 - As CptMasterShake waited patiently in the stands with his cloaking device active, River_Rat's full body mud pack began to fall off, revealing his torso in Shake's infra-red vision. Shake took aim with his shoulder cannon and prepared to capture another trophy from his prey.

Photo #2 - Kmvenne, surrounded by other posters, became anxious and frightened quickly when he couldn't post a decent response to all the touchy-feely attention, in fear he would make multiple typos and lose his crown.

Photo #3 - NFL-Soloman takes a ride on the huachuca train. Epic failures commence when Soloman tries to locate a warp to level 8 using trial and error.

Photo #4 - Many of us wonder what we all do for our day jobs, besides killing time adding comments to blog spots about silly photos, but no one wants to keep theirs under wrap than Buccingator. For he's a Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen!

Photo #5 - Ktopp24, reliving his old college days, arrives back home from a weekend trip to Atlantic City with turbozo, who sadly will never call him again

Feel the beat of my tambourine!  I must admit I do have the time of my life posting and reading for the challenge.  Unfortunately, though, I'm seventeen twice over, and then a smidge more.  Great stuff today, Shake.
I didn't figure you actually were, im in my late 20's, I just needed to keep up with the Lyrics because whenever I see a mascot dancing, thats the song in my head playing. Nothing else fits.

Thanks for the "great stuff's" today gents, (and ladies if so) I'll take it down a peg or two 2moro.

xoxo

1) After a weekend at the Austin Powers Film Festival, Jerry found himself obsessed with lasers and Verne Troyer.

2) Leo got 3rd in the "just try and get to your locker" competition at the 64th Annual Bully Me Olympics. He did however place 1st in both the "made you look" and "lunch money shake-down" events.

3) Sissy knew a full gainer with a half twist was a huge risk, but that combined with a perfect entrance put her way ahead of the field.

4) The whole not shaving deal for NHL players is cool, but when NBA cheerleaders do it - well - let's just say it's not very attractive.

5) You tell "laser boy" up there that I'd like to see him after the game.

3.  Horse races are run counter clockwise in the US, and clockwise in Europe and parts of Japan.  Here we see an international jockey who forgot where he was and turned his horse the wrong way into the trackside moat.

3.  Jockeys who ignore the "Impassable During High Water" signs may need AAA towing coverage.

Here's my resume for the day. (I'm really not motivated to do any more work today, and feel quite full of myself until I get home and get put in my place by the misses)

Photo #1 - After the Celtics threatened LeBron's Cavaliers a second time from reaching a World Title yesterday, David Stern has asked all Cavalier fans to set phasers from stun to kill.

Photo #1 - The Cavaliers could not beat Rajon Rondo on Sunday because Lonestar and Yogurt were helping the Schwartz be with him.

Photo #1 - The FBI continues to search for the Mobile, Alabama Leprechaun after losing him in a tree 4 years ago. This photo is evidence of his most recently known wear-bouts. FBI agent Tyrone stated "Where the Gold At?." An amateur sketch is expected to be released soon.

Photo #2 - Joe hates that his team is doing so well this year. Why? They started their winning streak after team captain BuccinGator called him a fatty and rubbed his belly like Buddha for good luck. Now it's a pregame ritual that Joe will never escape.

Photo #2 - Joe tries frantically to escape ear shot of his teammates Wednesday morning because he had slept through the team flight on Tuesday morning and had to catch a later flight that evening. The team began taunting him with a Q and A about everything that happened on Lost the night before, which they all knew he didn't watch.

Photo #3 - The jockey of the infamous horse 'Hoof-Hearted' met some resistance in qualifying when Gravity apparently still rules over all.

Photo #3 - Despite Golem's warnings, Frodo the horse just couldn't resist the lights in the Dead Marshes.

Photo #3 - What would you do for a Klondike Bar?

Photo #4 - Lady Ga Ga led the San Antonio Silver Dancers to some Bad Romance. She was as hot as ever and everyone liked her new Hair-do.

Photo #4 - The NBA adopted it's first Foreign Exchange Dancer program. Luvanka, from Scandinavia proved to be quite unpopular due to her shaving etiquette.

Photo #5 - In the steam roll over the Spurs to end the Suns sweep of the second round of the NBA playoffs, Steve Nash mocks San Antonio with his best Harvey Dent impression

Photo #5 - Co-Captain Steve Nash knows first hand (or back hand) why Amare Stoudemeire is also a Captain, and why he only needs to tell you once.

Quotes from your Business Luncheon with the Boss

Photo #1 - "As you can see, our profits are here and we want them to be right around here."

Photo #2 - "We've promoted several tactics in enforcing synergy and team moral, including group high fives and koombayas."

Photo #3 - "If I hadn't pulled out of the deal at the last second, we would have been sunk!"

Photo #4 - "Our HR has finished it's research on the production of new hires and they've come to find out one out of every 12 are not meeting our expectations."

Photo #5 - "I'll have a Samuel Adams."
