How to play:

It's simple, really. Look at the sports-related pictures above, and give us your funniest caption for any or all of them. You can write as many captions for each as you would like.

The challenge runs daily, Monday-Thursday. Each day's competition will usually be posted by noon ET, and will usually end around 11 p.m. ET. On Monday and Wednesday, Community member ktopp24 will be the judge. On Tuesday and Thursday, I'll run the show. If one of the judges decide that your caption is the funniest or most clever submitted for that picture, it will be declared a winner.

Winning captions will be announced when that day's challenge ends. There will be one winner for each picture, and also one winner for the person who can string together the 5 best captions all with the same theme.

You will be awarded one point for each winning caption that you post. You will see a running tally on the scoreboard, which will be posted at the beginning and end of each day. At the end of each month a champion is declared, and we shower that user in praise and adulation! We add his screenname to the Wall-O-Fame, and then we start everyone's score back at zero.

Mr. Mo-Chi
1) Look, just because polo was able to pull it off, doesn't mean all sports exclusice to rich, white people can be played in water.

Picture 2: Billy Bob shows up to a Obama Rally unfortunately his hearing ain't what it used to be and he mistakenly thought this was pajama Party.

3. You would think some would marvel at the skill put into Bob's Tattoos. Really though, everyone is always amazed that the Tattoo of the fat man drinking Newcastle shares perfectly the belly button of the real Fat Man. Well done La Ink

River_Rat
4. Thank goodness Jeff Gordon has decided to switch to a racing vehicle that he can handle, and a date that can match the size of his genitals.

Mr. Mo-Chi
5) Well, it's pretty obvious who Prince Akeem's chosen bride would've been if he received this type of weloming party.

Buuba J
5 Things Tiger would never do!

1) Play out of a water hazard.
2) Wear his Driver head cover.
3) Advertize with a tattoo
4) Steal his daughters toys.
5) Play golf in Queens. However he might date her.

Joe:
I will not have time to do this until late morning or early afternoon. If you need the scores sooner, go ahead and do them and I'll do today's contest. Sorry.
No worries... I'll grab them in a few.

Relatives that, well, the family wouldn't claim if we could get away with it.

Note, most of these are going to be on the wife's side of the family.Wink

1.  My brother-in-law's erractic son Willie had a brilliant idea.  He tested in a pool a floating golf ball that was easy to find in a water hazard.  Unfortunately he needed to be rescued several times while trying this invention for real at Everglades Country Club's gator pond.

2.  Her Uncle Mortimer was a big sponsor of local race cars.  He decided to go whole hog and sponsor a big time Nationwide team with his company, NothingMatchesHere.com.  Somehow, being his own living billboard just didn't work out and most folks in the garage area thought he was a homeless man who had somehow slipped by security.

3.  My side has it strange ones too.  Here we see my cousin Eddie from Kentucky.  Now no one was quite sure why he tatooed himself with an English soccer club and ale over his belly, but we suspect it had something to do with too much of that ale, some friends to egg him on, and a particularly bad Cincy Bengal loss about 9 years ago.

4.  The wife had an almost famous motorcycle racer, Big Teddy Behr, in the old family tree.  Big Teddy was known for hauling a large stuffed bear mascot with him at all times for luck.  Usually the luck came when he would lay down the bike in a really tight turn and use the bear as a cushion while he tumbled 200 yards down the track.

5.  And we can't forget my wife's younger sister Sheryll.  She had this thing for men who couldn't speak English well.  This picture was snapped while waiting for her latest victim, er, boufriend to get off a plane in NYC.  She always welcomed them to her home in Queens, and the dog reminded them they had to get whatever they were going to do over with so she could get fed.  It was crazy, but somehow this worked well for many years.

3.  Buddah is a English Premier League fan?  I always figured him to be a Lakers fan.

I also figure Buddah can type better than me too.

1.  Clubs in the pool would add a whole new dimention to the sport of water polo.  Michael must have been a fan of the late Lyle Alzado.

2.  First it's the kids wearing the grandpa hats.  Next thing, their parents are wearing them.  Before you know it, old fart grandpa's are wearing them again.  It's always back to the circle of life.

3.  Buddah is a English Premier League fan?  I always figured him to ne a Lakers fan.

4.  Apparently motorcycle racing wanted to one up the NASCAR/Toyota create your own paint scheme ads by showing cute and cuddly stuffed animals could actually race in their sport.  Keeping up with the Joneses is so tough these days.

5.  Elle from Legally Blonde takes her dog and passion for things Hispanic to the streets of New York.

1. Despite 10 pounds of Gold Medals, Michael Phelps still can't close the deal like Tiger.

3. You would think some would marvel at the skill put into Bob's Tattoos. Really though, everyone is always amazed that the Tattoo of the fat man drinking Newcastle shares perfectly the belly button of the real Fat Man. Well done La Ink.

5. Those bridge and tunnel girls just get worse and worse.
