Question of the day: Are you what you say you are

Posted on: June 19, 2008 2:08 pm

I am an observer. I watch life, I document it as a photographer. I am curious, on an internet community such as the one we belong to here at CBS, how many of us members, are truthfully what we say we are? Some say they have accomplished this or that. Others are pretending to be something they are not. What is the point for this, in all honesty, who are you trying to impress, this is an online community after all, most of us will never meet face to face, so why pose as something you are not?

Everyday people exaggerate things, this is part of life, I am however curious about the ones that are dong these falsehoods to merely try and pull the wool over ones eyes. If you were to fall victim to such person, and found out that someone outright lied about who they were, basic things, to major things such as  gender...how  would you react?

Question of the day: Are you what you say you are

Well my name is not dook is evil...and i don't think you name is...lol not going there badger!
You have gone over my head, d.i. evil.

Let's just say I know your name is NOT something else...??? Mr. B. Colorado

I am stuck on the fact that you drive a Ford Escort....oh dear!
That's not the usual reaction I get.  Normally people say "You drive a Ford Escort?"  I assume that the emphasis is on "Ford Escort" rather than "You" because they are jealous.  But, like I said, dook.  You don't have to be jealous.  Ford Escorts are far more affordable than you'd think just lookin' at 'em.

Just reflecting back to when we were seniors in High School, it was a popular vehicle. Albeit we did seem to have a mustang club. I had neither, had a hornet which we affectionately referred to the color being similar to something stick talks about. And get this it's nickname was related to my infamous buzz....but that definitely preceeded it...

Question of the day: Are you what you say you are

I'll admit that my name is not actually B. Colorado.  In fact, it's not even close to that.

I don't really reveal all that much about myself on here, but what I do is the real deal.  For example, I really do drive a Ford Escort and I do in fact live in an apartment.  While it might seem I'm trying to sell myself as a jet-setting man of power, it's not as difficult to have those things as you might believe.  Well, it might be hard to find an Escort these days (not the kind that Josh uses, but the car), but I'm willing to guess most of you could afford one (probably not Chip, though).

Being Martha Stewart (minus criminal record) or maybe Joan Jett (back in the day) would be cool.

I am who you thought I was.  I don't need to be anyone but me however I would like to be Giada DeLaurentis for just one day.  To be rich, gorgeous, and a great chef............must be tough.
