Okay, here is the schedule for the first round of pool play. There will only be 2 games per voting period and the voting period will last 72 hours (3 days). There will be a 2 day break between each set of games, so you have during then to get your gameplans done.

There is no excuses for gameplans to be late. You all know now when your games will be, so you should know when you gameplans are due. You gameplans will be due in by midnight of the day your matchup will occur on.

Any further questions, please PM me.

SpecKeta is once again not making time for a gameplan, is there a point when he is not considered for these contests anymore?

The fun of drafting players is what many people want, then when it comes time to gameplan or vote they have no interest, pity...

2009 NBA Mock Draft Schedule: Pool Play Round 1

There has been a scheduling change:

The Clutch Killers vs. Super-nuga-listic-expi-ali-docious  has been moved to the 3rd set of games and The Winning Gamblers vs. David Stern's Jowel has been moved to the 4th set of games.

The Flavor has dropped out, so I have to find a replacement for him.

2009 NBA Mock Draft Schedule: Pool Play Round 1

Being on the second rated middle school debate team in the nation only behind a Harvard Private school should help me out.

Did that help you last year?  I thought you said you only won a few games.  Maybe now you have learned some tricks since last year, who knows....

Honestly I get excited to read everyones gameplan.  I am constantly remodelling my plans, you'll notice that I private message tons in threads that are no longer active ( like the original NBA Mock page ), I come back every few hours at work and re-read my gameplan and change things around and then re-send it to myself, .   But I have taken the stat information tidbits from Chrispers and took the different lineup breakdowns from G8tr.   I liked how Harst did his last gameplan, I might be borrowing a few of those ideas for my next one.

But overall Subby, I like your team.  You are cetainlly one of the favorites going into this.  I have my hands full in my division between the D-Wade-led CK's, the power that is Jakey's team of course, and Skins who is full throttle offense.  No easy games for sure.

Really all I want to do is position myself so that I can be in the pool that Biggy ends up in, then I can seek my revenge...

2009 NBA Mock Draft Schedule: Pool Play Round 1

Top Matches in the 1st Set of Games:

1. The Gamebreakers vs. The Drunken Monkeys: I list this game as number one because it of course has my little buddy Jakey going against Skins.  We have the most offensive squad going against the most offensive Coach, lol... just kidding you Jakey.  I will be curious how everyone is going to rate Oden since this will happen after he has his first real game under his belt against the mighty Lake-Show. Not to mention we will see how many Pistons fans come in and rate the Piston-Bench of MS's team.  Not that they aren't a good team but having all of them is pretty homeresc.  And lastly how will Skins avoid the Nash-curse?

2. Timberwolves vs. Chrisper & Crew: Any team with Kobe running the show is going to be good.  Mr. Perez has put together one of the most well balanced teams led by D-Will.  SpecKeta was bashed for his overconfidence in the All-Time Contest so we will see how he approaches this contest.  But I guess if you have a team led by the Black Mamba himself you should be pretty confident.  Another big man will be rated early with Bynum going against Oden.  I like Bynum myself and almost took him with one of my high picks in the draft.  Two very solid teams, will come down to the gameplanning.

3. San Diego Squarepants vs. The Elites: DJ will be putting up points on any team.  How will everyone view the Pau / Dirk combo?  Also he gets to bring in one of my favorite players in Kevin Durant, and the possible ROY in Bealsey.  Subby has the championship 1-2 punch of Mr. Longoria and KG.  I rode KG to the All-Time Championship, can he once again be the King of the Mountain?  Looking forward to the gameplanning of Subby as well, he built one of the top teams in the draft.

*Of course this is prior to the end of the trading period, which could greatly effect some of these contests, but as of right now that's the top three as I see it.  Good Luck to everyone, well except for Clutch because you get to face off against me...
