New York Mets Player Salaries and Contracts

As a college student, I believe that these salaries that these players are getting are outrageous. Bench players are making more money than the president. When the just have to work out and watch the game. That is insane! I am going to college so that I can hope to make a better chance at creating a good life.

New York Mets Player Salaries and Contracts

It's interesting to revisit this at approx. 1/3 through the season.

Looks like 4 of 5 spots in the rotation are set for next year

Catcher and 1B are major concerns for 2009

How can the Mets get rid of Castillo and his terrible contract.  Every time I see Orlando Hudson playing well on the Dodgers it makes me sick.

The Mets clearly are not in love with Ryan Church (not sure why).  They will need both corner OF unless F-Mart can take the position.

Lastly, funny about Bobby Bonilla still on the payroll.

Great info
