Each week I throw a blog out there asking you all to tell CBS Sports why you love or hate someone or something. We don't care for middle grounds in this blog. Middle grounds are for people much more sane than we are.

This week, we're lovin' and hatin' the Pro Bowl.

So share with us why you love or hate football's All-Star game and if you have time you can check out previous Love/Hate videos here.

How it works is ... comment back on the blog with something like "I hate the Pro Bowl because the best players sit out" or "I love the Pro Bowl because of occasional hits like this."

Something like that. Yours, I trust, will be much, much better.

Remember to start your response with I love ... or I hate...

That's all. So spread the love and hate. I look forward to reading your responses and any suggestions for future Love/Hates are always appreciated.

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

I'm kind of on both sides. I mean look at it this way:

I love it because its fun to watch and you KNOW they're good players because in this game are all-stars that the fans, players, and coaches all voted for.

I hate it because the QB's get little playing time compared to a regular game, they only select one kicker for each conference( i like kickers), and the winners get paid $40,000 but the losers get paid $20,000!

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

I love the Pro Bowl because I get to see rookies like Adrian Peterson play like it means something, and what a fantastic day he had!  It's also the last chance to see any of my Vikings before the next season starts.

I hate the Pro Bowl because the voting should be based on player stats not just because you want to see everyone from your team in there. A true fan of the game votes for the best players at each position not based solely on which team they play for.  I also hate when fans take the time to vote someone in and then those players don't even have the decency to show up.  Being hurt is an exception, but when they don't show it is snubbing their noses at the fans that voted them in to begin with, and I thought the Pro Bowl was for the fans.

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

I agree...

Does anyone really think Tony Gonzales was that good this season to be a Pro Bowler?

I know Gates is injured...  Winslow should have been there regardless of injury.

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

I love the pro bowl because I get to satisfy my football fix for at least 1 more week!! I enjoy the accolades that have been laid upon these individuals, even if they seem to weasel out of playing in it every year..At least a vet like Fred Taylor appreciates the oppurtunity handed to him to finally get his shot..Even if it was a gift from my boy' Fast Willie and his season ending injury!!

I hate the pro bowl because its lost its luster, creativity, and passion thanks to silly rules and spoiled Veterans who do not appreciate the oppurtunity given to them by the fans..I'll watch it cause' it's football and my Steelers are in it but I sure won't be placing any bets on who wants to win this one more!! No bonuses should be given to players unless they participate in the game, unless truly injured..

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

I hate the pro bowl because there is absolutely no competition involved.  It is a collection of great competitive players who really don't care about the outcome of the game. It's like the last day of school, where you have to go but everyone knows nothing spectacular is going to happen.  It is just a commercialized social gathering for football's elite.

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

It was Robert Edwards and he was injured during the week of the pro bowl in a "rising stars" event that was a flag football  game at the beach.  He tore up his knee and did make an attempt to comeback with a short stint with the dolphins i believe.

I will Love the Pro-Bowl this year solely b/c devin hester will be his own highlight reel!

I will Hate the Pro-Bowl this year b/c it tends to be about as light of contact as Flag-Football or two hand touch.

Why I love/hate: THE PRO BOWL

There is no ambiguity here. I absolutely love football but I have no love of the pro bowl at all....the fans vote for certain players to be there and this year it seems more than any....the players that were voted to play, are generally not playing...for whatever reason. It used to mean something to the players and I didn't watch it then either. The football season is over. It's a waste of three hours for us as viewers as far as I'm concerned.  For those that enjoy the game...all the power to ya'.
