Oregon @ Washington
The dawgs have already picked off 2 favored opponents at home, but this matchup doesn't seem to favor them.  They'll will be hard pressed to slow down the spread-option with Jeremiah Masoli returning from injury, and UO's strength on defense (the pass) matches UW's.  Barring some fluky plays, the Ducks shouldn't have much trouble.

Oregon, 31-21.

Washington State @ Cal
The Bears bounced back at UCLA last week and will continue on the right path here.

Cal, 42-10.

UCLA @ Arizona
Right now, Nick Foles is the best quarterback in the conference, and the Wildcats look like they could make some noise.  UCLA still doesn't have an identity under Neuheisel.

Arizona, 27-13.

Oregon State @ USC
Jacquizz Rodgers is playing great and could give the Trojans trouble again, and Sean Canfield has quietly had a very efficient season.  But Matt Barkley is progressing well, and has too much at home.

USC, 27-16.

Arizona State @ Stanford
The Cardinal D has been exposed on the road the last 2 weeks, but aside from last-second Hail Marry's, ASU doesn't have enough firepower to test them.  At home, Toby Gerhart leads them to a win.

Stanford, 23-13.

Pac 10 Predictions, Week 8

Oregon @ Washington

The Huskies have played very well at home this year; I think that trend should continue. However, I don't think its going to be enough to beat a resurrgent Ducks team who has their eyes set on a Pac-10 Title.

Oregon 33 Washington 27

Washington State @ Cal

Jahvid Best runs wild, Bears win.

Cal 42 WSU 10

UCLA @ Arizona

Arizona, with Foles leading the helm, has done quite well. They should really be 3-0 in Pac-10 play at this point. However, they still control their own destiny in the Pac-10 with games still to come against USC and Oregon. UCLA is not even in Arizona's league at this point.

Arizona 35 UCLA 13

Oregon State @ USC

I expect Jacquizz Rodgers to make some plays and keep the Beavers in this game. But like the Huskies I think their upset efforts will just fall short.

USC 31 Oregon State 27

Arizona State @ Stanford

The question is going to be whether or not ASU can control Gerhart the way they did Polk last week against the Huskies. I don't expect a high-scoring game, but I do expect Gerhart will be able to put Stanford in a position to score enough points to win.

Stanford 24 ASU 20

Pac 10 Predictions, Week 8

Oregon @ Washington
The Dawgs are getting there, but aren't quite back yet. The Ducks want to see their ground game chew up the yards and be effective in the red zone. Locker has become much more comfortable in the pocket; doesn't just quit on a play and decide he has to run. It comes down to the Ducks not giving the game away. Ducks 35 Dawgs 20

Washington State @ Cal
The Cougars aren't getting any better, and Cal could be showing life again.
   Bears 45 Cougars 7

UCLA @ Arizona
Arizona started the season without Tuitama at QB, and lost all world TE Gronkowski, it looked bad. But Foles has come out of nowhere to put up crazy numbers. HuskySP hit it exactly, the Bruins just don't have a system in place yet.
  Wildcats 31 Bruins 16

Oregon State @ USC
The Beavers are starting their annual second half surge, but it will hit a roadblock at the Coliseum against the Trojans, who remember what J Quizz did to them last season.
   Trojans 38 Beavers 20

Arizona State @ Stanford
The winner of this game stays in the top half of the conference. The Cardinal have flopped in the last two weeks but with Gerhart they have a steady run game that will be enough to take this one.
  Cardinal 24 Sun Devils 16
