Pac-10 Power Rankings, Week 6

Wow, what a week.  These teams aren't making my "job" easy.  3 through 8, this conference is a mess.

1. UCLA (1) I still think they are a great team, but they need Collsion to play better.

2. Stanford (2) They're making me look stupid.  They could be a Final 4 darkhorse.

3. Washington State (4) righted the ship against the Trojans.

4. USC (5) Bad loss on Saturday, but they got a road split.  Can they beat the Bruins twice?

5. Arizona State (6) Beating Arizona twice will be huge for their resume.

6. Arizona (3) Bayless scored 39 against the Devils.  Rest of team=15. 

7. Oregon (8) They can get back in the race with if they play well this week.

8. Cal (7) Maybe they should play all their games on the road?

9. Washington (9) Great win, but they are still a tourney long-shot.

10 Oregon State (10) I think they're best chance for a conference win is this week against UW.

Pac-10 Power Rankings, Week 6

Your power rankings looks like their taken directly from the regular conference standings.

I don't mind most of what you've got, but ASU is not the #5 team in the conference. They are the only team that hasn't beaten Stanford, UCLA, or WSU... and they've also just barely snapped a 5 game losing streak, and it took a horrible shooting night and a key injury for their opponent for that to happen.

Pac-10 Power Rankings, Week 6

Stanford vs UCLA should be fun to watch. Also UW vs UO would be a good game if they would put it on television. I stick with my earlier claim that 9 teams in this conference could place very well in any other conference. Take the UW upset of UCLA. Is there another conference out there where a team in the bottom 20% of the conference (I'm not saying 9th place because some conferences have more than 10 teams) would beat the top team in the conference. I think not. That would be like Michigan beating Wisconsin or Iowa St beating Kansas or LSU beating Tennessee or South Florida beating Georgetown. It just wouldn't happen. Thats how competitive this league is.
