In an effort to "Go Green," the Mets have installed a new eco-friendly hand dryer in the Mets clubhouse restroom. They have done away with the towels and electricity for drying hands and installed a state of the art system. When the user is finished washing his hands, he steps over to a tee and places his hands where the ball is usually placed. David Wright is standing there ready with bat in hand to make your hands bone dry in one or two mighty swings.

New York Mets are now environmentally friendlyBAH...I thought the players would take their wet hands into the Nats broadcast booth, and let ol' Ray Knight blast a buncha hot air on them. He is a kinda dry guy, eh?

New York Mets are now environmentally friendlyOld news, tark. The Mets have been eco-friendly for years. They started as a recycling center for misplaced Dodgers/Giants fans and have been welcoming trash into their doors ever since. |
