Tom Brady leads all starting QB's this week in rush attempts!

Brady - 37
Manning - 29
Favre - 29
Rivers - 29

Oddly enough, 3 of the above four quarterbacks have 29 rush attempts. But Brady leads all with 37! I know people have always fancied Brady a "pretty boy" kind of quarterback presumably because of his appearances in fashion magazines, but hey...Ryan Seacrest is in fashion magazines, and....bad example.

But anyway, I just wanted to stress the point that Brady willingly takes more shots to his body than the other three guys and he should get a little more credit. Like maybe an MVP, or something...

Welker wasn't drafted!

You can't consider him a superstar anymore than Donald Driver.

Oh Come ON!

First of all i never said Welker was drafted.

I admit, i misused the word superstar.

Welker is not a superstar,

but he is a great receiver and Pats bought him and added him to the superstar roster.

my point was that every quarterback in the league could win with that core of receivers

it takes skill to win with no names.

And Moss and Stalworth are both big names.

ok i will.

Brett Farve has who on his team?

Donald Driver, Greg Jennings and a few other no names.

Now who does Brady have?

Wes Walker, Randy Moss, and some other big name superstars.

What im saying is that anybody can be a good quarterback when you have an allstar supporting cast.

But it takes great skill to be a good QB if you have a mediocre team.

Im not taking anything away from Brady's accomplishments.

But i think Brett Farve deserves it more than Tom Brady does.

Brady is hard to argue against.  50 TD passes, and averaged 300 yds/game while throwing only 8 picks.  If he's not the MVP then they shouldn't give out the award.  Favre can win the game for you, but he can cost you the game too.  Gutsy veteran does not necessarily = MVP.

It's just a guess on my part, but Brady winning the MVP may be a forgone conclusion this year?  I don't know, call me stupid, but it's just a hunch. lol
