Ok, here is the deal, every Friday I will post a new Blog in which we will choose the greatest player ever at a certain position. Untill the next position is posted CBS members may vote for who they think the greatest ever is, at the end of the voting I will calculate everyones votes and will add that player to The Greatest Team Ever. I hope lots of you participate because I think this could be fun. I will try to post a running tally in a comment every day.

1st Possition - C      Vote for the best center of all time!! Please post your vote in a comment, if you wish to give some insight on your choice feel free to do so. Please start your post with the players name, and please make sure that you are naming someone who played the position being voted for that week, as those are the only votes that will count..........So who is our Center?

Yeah I know it will take a long time but I think that will be part of the fun. I have 7 months to wait before they start playing regular season games again so this will be a way to mark the time.

I got to go with Mike Webster, he was not only a great blocker but he did most of the pre snap reads for Bradshaw. Probably the most involved center ever to play the game. He was also a bit of an iron man going over a decade without missing a game.

Honorable mentions:

Jim Langer,Dwight Stephenson, Don Mosebar (would have been to more pro bowls had he not played in the afc with these other greats), Dermontti Dawson, Bruce Matthews (could be on for guard, wasnt a bad tackle either), Ray Donaldson, Kevin Glover, Kevin Mawae.
