Ok, here is the deal, every Friday I will post a new Blog in which we will choose the greatest player ever at a certain position. Until the next position is posted CBS members may vote for who they think the greatest ever is, at the end of the voting I will calculate every ones votes and will add that player to The Greatest Team Ever. I hope lots of you participate because I think this could be fun. I will try to post a running tally in a comment every day.

6th Position - DT      Vote for the best Defensive Tackles of all time!! Please post your vote in a comment, if you wish to give some insight on your choices feel free to do so. Please start your post with the players names, and please make sure that you are naming someone who played the positions being voted for that week, as those are the only votes that will count, Remember this week is a double dip and you will be voting for 2 players..........So who our Defensive Tackles?

Please remember to rate this blog entry, and all comments as I appear to be losing value points for doing this blog, I happen to believe a lot of you enjoy it however, so I will continue even though I may be a rookie by the time it is over!

I don't know how many voters would be familiar with whether a guy did KR or PR. For instance, Sayers is the best KR IMO, but PR is wide open. Maybe if it is clear cut on what the guy did, KR or PR, we could go that route. Perhaps the best thing to do is cross that bridge when we're there. Voting for both, like ST makes sense though. Just like K and P would make sense to run concurrently.

I would also like to hear you regulars give some input on weather we should just vote both returners this coming week, or keep them separate. If we do do another 2fer should the top vote getter be the PR or the KR?

Lonewolf,
The guy is Brian Mitchell. Played QB in college at, I think, South Carolina. Great athlete and a threat every time he touched it. He was a pretty good 3rd down back as well.
