This past week my family and I took a trip to Watkins Glen. Unforgenitly they didnt have any races going on this weekend. But everyday at noon for $25 they let you drive around the track for around 3 laps. So we drove our mini van onto it and did 3 laps in the van. We only got up to around 80 mph, but that was all the van could handle anyway. I dont know if other tracks do the same thing or not; anyone know?

I did miss some of the race, so I dont know about how well a guy did besides the first 100 or so laps and where he finished.

1. Kyle Busch (Last Week: 1st)
Kyle Busch If he keeps having finishes like he did Sunday he wont be first for much longer.
2. Jeff Burton (Last Week: 4th)
Jeff Burton This was a hard pick, I could have and should went with ether Carl or Jr, but Jeff had the best finish of the 3 and is only 64 points behind Kyle.
3.  Carl Edwards (Last Week: 2nd)
Carl Edwards His top 10 streak had to come to an end sometime
4. Jimmie Johnson (Last Week: 6th)
Jimmie JohnsonOne of two guys in the top 12 in standings to finish in the top 10.
5 Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Last Week: 2nd)
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr nation wont be to happy about my ranking, but finishing 24th isnt that good and 12th at infinion makes me think that Jr is slowing down just some.
6. Jeff Gordon (Last Week: 5th)
Jeff Gordon Just missed the top 10.
7. Kasey Kahne (Last Week: 7th)
Kasey Kahne Most drivers in the top 12 didnt have to good finishes. Kahne finished 30th
8.Denny Hamlin  (Last Week: 11th)
Denny Hamlin The other chaser to finish in the top 10.
9. Tony Stewart  (Last Week: 12th)
Tony Stewart Up two spots in the standings to 9th with his 13th place finish.
10.  Greg Biffle  (Last Week: 8th)
Greg Biffle Finished 21st and droped a spot in the standings to 8th.
11..Matt Kenseth  (Last Week: 9th)
Matt Kenseth His top 10 streak ended too, and he droped to 13th in the standings , but he is only 15 points behind Harvick.
12. Martin Truex Jr. (Last Week: 19th)
Martin Truex Jr. I had this guy way too low last week. Nice Job with the top 5, and he is up to 14th in the standings, but he is still 71 points behind Harvick.
13.. Clint Bowyer  (Last Week: 10th)
Clint Bowyer Besides Infineon he hasnt had a top 10 finish since Richmond. He has also droped down to 11th in the point standings.
14.  Kevin Harvick  (Last Week: 17th)
Kevin Harvick He got himself back into the top 12, but its been 7 races since he has had a top 10 finish.

18.  Brian Vickers (Last Week: 13th)
Brian Vickers Yeah he is a little bit low, but I couldnt fit him in any higher.

Junior had a top 15 car at worst until McMurry ran into the back of him!!!!! Plus he lead early on so I would hardly say he is slowing down? 12th at Infideon isn't that bad for Junior that is by far his worst road course he is much better at Watkins and he was in the top ten until the final so many laps.

I think your wrong about him slowing down is all.

Oh, by the way don't put too much stock into what Frady has to say, to him if Junior is not ranked number 1 then you don't know what your doing anyway.

This coming from the guy crying his driver not ranked in the top 20 after getting a top 5 for the first time in over three years.

I noticed Mikey in the Honorable mention category.  Does he belong?  All I can say it was good to see him up front at the end of the race.  Now if he wins this week I do expect him in the top 20. Otherwise, I respect your rankings. I do agree with Frady, that you either rank based on that week or the season.  If you are going to rank by the week though I think you need to say that is what you are basing your rankings on up front.

Oh, by the way don't put too much stock into what Frady has to say, to him if Junior is not ranked number 1 then you don't know what your doing anyway.

Edwardsfan I understand and respect that but if you are going to jump guys like Johnson up for how well they ran this week and drop guys like Jr for how bad they ran then you should do it with everyone. Including Kahne and Kyle. But then again this is your Power Rankins not mine.

Frady I try to rank them based on recent performence, but sometimes (like this week) a lot of guys have terrible finishes, so if I ranked it that way guys like Kahne and Kyle Busch would have went down in the rankings when overall they have done really good this season.

Hey I am suprised Mickey hasnt comminted on the Honorable Mentions list.

I as a Jr fan am not going to complain about the rankings this week but I will make one suggestion. It seems like you are ranking some drivers based how they have run all season and others on how they have run that week. I suggest doing one or the other. Just my opinion. Great job as always.

No Mikey, but my driver will be in the top 20

On another note, I always think you rate Johnson too high, and I'm sticking to it, everything else is fine so far.

Looks like you quit at 12 instead of 20 like usual.  But I cannot believe that you don't have Mikey ranked.  After all he did finish 2nd and moved up 4 spots in the standings.  That should be worth something shouldn't it?

I guess 28th in points doesn't mean much these days does it?
