DUMBEST NFL PLAYS YOU EVER SAW

Hey NFL fans,

Here's the place to discuss the absolute most BONEHEADED plays you had the pleasure of witnessing.  And man oh man, have there been some doozies.

One of my faves was Leon Lett showboating in a blowout win vs. the Bills in SB XXVII.  In what seemed to be a breakaway TD, he stuck the ball out to his side and danced his way towards the end zone as Don Beebe put on the afterburners and knocked the ball out of his hand and it rolled out of the endzone for a touchback, not a touchdown.  Take that!

DUMBEST NFL PLAYS YOU EVER SAW

Yeah.. these are all really good ones.

Some of the dumbest end up as unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.  One I can think of is Brian Cox of the Bears (date I can't remember), when a referee threw a flag as Cox was approaching from the side.  The ref didn't see him.  The flag hit Cox in the eye, through his facemask.  Obviously, the ref didn't mean it.  But Cox being the idiot he was, he shoves the ref to the ground.  Dumb dumb dumb!!!

That moron on the Cardinals that got the offsides penalty for just standing there 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage while the Cowboys hurried to spike the ball. Though it didn't cost the Cardinals the game, it could have and it did put Nick Folk in range for a 50 yard game tying feegee that gave my fantasy opponent 5 extra points. Now I'm down 14 instead of 9 with Plexiglass left to play tonight. There's also that idiot on the Rams, Ingocnito, that got an unsportsman like conduct penalty which pushed the Rams game-winning fieldgoal attempt back 15 yards. His own teammates were telling him to shut up but he kept jawing at the official until the flag was thrown. If I was the coach, he would be suspended for a least one game based on his selfish stupidity.

DUMBEST NFL PLAYS YOU EVER SAW

How about Sunday 49er's and Philly,  T J 'O'Sullivan less than 1min 30 no time outs left behind by 3 points a he runs the ball and stay in bounds and then fumble and Philly wins and another lost for the 49er's

And the Az win in OT against the Cowboys. I'm not a Cowboy fan but Romo could have done better I guess that's why he broke his finger he didn't want to face the press today.

DUMBEST NFL PLAYS YOU EVER SAW

Leon Lett's Super Bowl blunder was not as dumb as his move the next year against the Dolphins when her tried to grab the ball in the snow on Thanksgiving and ultimately ended up giving Miami a game winning field goal of about 25 yards.  If you really want to reach the pinnacle of stupidity, listen to Emmitt Smith give his analysis of anything.  I image a spelling test would make him sweat harder than he ever did on a football field.

Yeah, but the (from what I hear, didn't see the game) bogus pass int. call was pretty critical too.

I was impressed by Lane Kiffin not using timeouts to stop the clock while Buffalo was chewing up yards and time en route to driving for a winning field goal in week 3.

Ha!

Inspired by that Orlovsky gem? Wow that was great. I'd put that near the top...especially since that was the difference in the game.
