Tony Sparano? Good choice by the Fins?

Posted on: January 16, 2008 7:52 pm

I really dont know what to think about our new head coach Tony Sparano. I hope this guy brings intensity to this team. But how long will this take to see this team become a winning team? Just like in the old days.  Lets just keep our heads up, hoping that this coach is the only that we will be seeing for years to come!

I think Sparano will be a good fit. He was the man calling the offensive plays for the Cowboys this year and has proven to be a good offensive coordinator. I think that having Parcells right down the hall for advice can't hurt either. He is already surrounded by coaches that he very familiar with and this too will be a good fit.

good choice, Parcells knows to build from the ground up, he will go for offensive lineman and build out from there. Fins need the down and dirty players, they have a couple of good rbs and will need recievers . Parcells has his work cut out for him, this team needs a lot a players going to take 2 or 3 years to build a playoff team

I agree with jetsfan.

Many Dol-fans here wanted Bill Cowher.  I think Sparano is a guy who mirrors The Chin a little bit.  Like jetsfan said, he was in the offensive lineman's faces, and you could even see the spit flying.  The Cowboys have a dominant offensive line and I was surprised to see Spar "up in their grills."

The Dolphins offensive line, hell, the entire team needs a good kick in the ass like that.

A++ hire by Bill Parcells.

The Miami Tunaphish.
