Waste of talent

So bad were the Illini yesterday! Let's go over some of the reasons this team is a waste of talent!

Not lining someone up over the center on 3rd and inches
Letting 7 seconds run off the clock before calling a timeout at the end of the 1st half
Not making def adjustments to the TE curl, seriously If i see that again on 3rd and 5 or 6
completed for 9 yards again I think I will kill myself
Calling a timeout on 4th and 1 late in the game....WTF WAS THAT?
Stop running the option.....it aint working and looks like a 7th grade team running it
Unfocused
undisciplined
Lackadaisical....I mean it looks like they are in a fog out there.....did you see on 1 of the Illini short punts when 3 guys let the ball roll back 3 or 4 yards before they finally picked the damn thing up?! Pick up the damn ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HTF can you not lineup on the line of scrimmage as a Tackle.....what are you in Jr Tackle? WTF!

I don't like this team. I don't like teams who piss away their God given talent because they seem to think they can just show up and since they have superior talent they will just automatically win. They are painful to watch!  COACHING! a lot of that is COACHING! Where is the punishment for playing poor sloppy uninspired football? Guys need to start riding the bench to send a message that this should and will not be tolerated. A loss to that team yesterday should be embarrassing to everyone associated with the Illini program. This team is one of the biggest underachievers I have seen in recent memory!

My 2nd favorite team is  NIU and it was such a pleasure to watch a team yesterday who plays the game the way it should be played. No dumba$$ mistakes, no bonehead coaching, a def who actually flows to the football......they do not have the Illini's talent but they sure play the game the right way.....to bad I can't say the same for the waste of talent Illini!
