Lane Kiffin, selfish young man

See! Age is an adjective. Nothing more or less ... Paterno fans.

Anyway ...

I'm not a Lane Kiffin guy. Read me at all, and you know that. I seem to mention it a few times a year month week.

Here's another example.

Not the violation. I don't care about the violation. I don't even care that ESPN helped commit the violation. ESPN was, technically speaking, doing its job. Plus, it's ESPN. ESPN does what ESPN wants. I get it. No problem.

But read at the end of the story where Kiffin gives an explanation about his infamous, and alleged, "gas pumping" comment. Notice the order in which he defends himself: He defends his intelligence before he defends his integrity. Even subliminally, those are his priorities.

Which tells me he's not as smart as he thinks he is. And not as wholesome, either.

Ask the question "Where is the biggest tool in this photograph?'

Lane Kiffin, selfish young man
You have repeatedly attacked  Lane Kiffin with only your personal opinion. When are you going to come out and tell everyone that you write trash about other coaches in the SEC because your a Florida grad. Even being a Wildcat fan you make me sick and CBS should be ashamed they actually let you write the articles you do. Are you kidding, at least the Claynation pieces have some substance. Your an disgrace and should be removed from writing 5th grade opinions. You my friend are a joke. Nice sledgehammer. Who's the idiot?

You dont come on here much obviously b/c Doyeli the first guy to talk smack about UF as well...You should get your facts straight! But I agree with the rest of your comment

Hey, Rocket Scientist:  He is not saying the story is true.  He actually says alledged, which is true.  And the comment was not about the actual story, but the order in which Kiffin chose to trot out reasons why it is not true.  Kiffin is a self-centered man with an inferiority complex that forces him to talk louder and more often than those that actually have the ability to get the job done.

Doyel  Two of your stories from the past week- Joe Paterno, selfish old man and now Lane Kiffin, selfish young man. Way to dig for an original story.

Lane Kiffin, selfish young man

Let's look at this post by the insanely intelligent Doyel. He first sets up the theme of the post by saying he is emotionally connected to this topic in a negative way. Rule#1 of journalism broken! He admits he doesn't care about rules, which is to say he has the NCAA in disregard. Then he shows a bit of jealousy towards ESPN. Fianally, he quotes a story that HAS NOT been proven ( the Gas pumping ), which was rejected by the player supposedly it was spoken to. I enjoy some of Doyel's articles / posts....but I'm starting to think there might be a ' bromance " brewing with the writer toward the coach. How else can you explain the obsession???

Lane Kiffin, selfish young man

Lane Kiffin is a younger Bill Calahan.  It is simply amazing to me that the Raiders get rid of a Coach like Chucky and they end up hiring the two biggest frauds in football coaching history. Like Calahan, Kiffin swiftly alienated himself from his players.  Like Calahan, Kiffin took a star quality team and made them the joke of the NFL.  Like Calahan, he was fired after many players wanted to quit the team.  Now, like Calahan, Kiffin has been hired for one of the premier college coaching jobs in the country.
Of course, like Calahan, he will make a mockery of a traditional power in college football. Tennessee fans should stop being fans for a minute and realize this sooner rather than later. Tennessee, get rid of this guy.

Apparantly, I am the one who is not very smart.  If I was, I would see that articles are written by Doyel and then disregard them. In reality what happens is that like a moth to a flame, I open the article.  I'm not sure if it's because subliminally I enjoy lame commentary with no basis in anything, or is it that somwhere down inside I actually believe that Doyel might someday muster up something that isn't garbage.  Seriously Doyel, Lane Kiffin isn't wholesome?   Wow, what are you going to tell me next?  Is water wet too?  Lane Kiffin is a used care salesmen who happens to know a lot about the game of footbell, tell me something I don't know.  Of course, this is the same guy who thinks he knows what is good for college football better than Joe freaking Paterno.

Gregg Doyel, self-absorbed young man

Gregg Doyel: one-track mind or dead horse beating a$$hole - you decide.
There must be something in all of sports to write about other than Lane Kiffin.
The non-stop piling on is getting old.

I think CBS encourages their writers to post stories like this every once in awhile to generate more responses.

Also, Mr. Doyle, your avatar is more offensive to me than all the ones your bosses have been removing.

Well, less un-offensive I should say.
