Urban and Tebow, and OK, this was cool

Two hours before kickoff against Florida State, Florida coach Urban Meyer was on the field, just him and daughter Gigi Nicki, greeting every Gator as the team walked through the stadium and across the field toward the locker room. By 1:37 p.m., the team was gone, but Meyer and Nicki stayed. It was almost as if one Gator had yet to cross the field.

One guess who that was.

Ten minutes later, a handful of sheriff's deputies start walking down the empty stadium steps. They are followed by a single Gator. Of course, it's Tim Tebow.

Meyer meets him at midfield with a hug. Nicki hugs him. They walk toward the locker room, and Tebow throws his arm around Meyer's shoulders as they disappear into the tunnel.

I don't care who you are or how cynical you are (guilty ): If you were here, and you didn't get goosebumps watching this, you're a cadaver.

I can tell that my time is being wasted on you. I was hoping that you could match my knowledge but apparently you can't. The media sucks off anyone that makes a story. I have no defense for a God-hating monger like yourself. I am not a bible-thumper but I do have faith, I don't know what to tell you. Your problems extend way beyond the gridiron. I would like to say call me if you want help......but don't!

First, you're 11 years old; I gave you too much credit.  Second, post the speeds of all the guys you're talking about and cite your source.  Otherwise don't bother saying stuff like that--I'm not going to believe anything without evidence.  Third, I never ripped Tebow for his quarterback play.  He's pretty good.  I ripped him for being fellated by the media for being such a great guy, largely in part because he's religious.  Being religious and believing in sky faeries without evidence does not make one great.  Where were you?  I missed you.

First of all, my bragging is not unwarranted. Secondly, we would beat Ohio State tomorrow if we played the because we have 3 players on offense faster than any 2 players on OSU. I noticed your, " What are you, 12 years old?" defense has turned to dust. Look dude. Ohio State is an okay program, but the original argument had YOU ripping Tebow. Is that still the route you want to take?

You've had a good run at Florida; be a good sport for crying out loud.  No need to be such an unlikable brat.  Your post really doesn't make any sense though.  Where do you come up with this stuff?  Where do you get off saying Ohio State is only focused on trying to outrecruit Michigan?  Cite your sources.  And how does someone even respond to your inane comment that Ohio State needs to start worrying about "real" programs?  Okay, so they should sit back and worry?  Ohio State puts together great teams and always have high-tier recruiting classes.  Yeah, Florida beat them several years ago.  So what?  Are you really calling Ohio State a bad team?  If you are, you're pretty dumb.  Florida doesn't play Ohio State this year, so irrespective of all your pointless bragging, you can't say that Florida would beat Ohio State if they played tomorrow.  Anyway, you're unstimulating to argue with, so go ahead and do some unwarranted bragging and then run along to your car-bed and get some rest.

At some point in our conversation, I would love to talk about the sport of football. I think you are judging your comments by your point total in the corner. That is fine. Have fun. What do you want me to say? Your team blows. You have a coach that refuses to adjust in big games even though it is apparent to the rest of the country that he is getting bitchslapped on national TV. Or that your conference is garbage and needs to get with the program and institute a championship game, or that you continually try to run away from the fact that Ohio State needs to stop trying to outrecruit Mich. and Iowa and start worrrying about real programs like UF, USC, UM, UT, OSU. BSU for Crists sake and Ala??

Well, that was anticlimactic.  I thought you were going to say something intelligent.  I really wouldn't call that an elephant in the room.  I don't hate Florida; I think fans like you are tools though.  And rest assured, I am "dealing with it."  You must be 12 years old, kid.  Who talks like that anymore?  Are you going to tell me to "talk to the hand" too?  Run along now--it's getting late.

that you hate Florida just for the simple fact that we are the premier program in the NCAA and that The OSU has given us a first class ride. Deal With It! Sorry about the improper capitaliztion.

I am sick of everyone who has to trash Tebow.  I am not a Florida fan.  I went to Indiana and Notre Dame. Those are my schools. But we have to be blind not to see this kid is special. He is a leader. He does so much right. He is a winner.  He deserves the adolates.  If he wins the Heismann again, he will likely deserve that too.  So if you haters want to say Tebow is not the best, tell us on what possible measure you think that is true.  Tebow is in fact one of the greats we will see in college football.  I'm very anxious to see how that translates to the pros. But either way, you can't take away from the incredible things he has done. And the classy way he has done it. If you disagree...God Bless America! You have that right. But if you don't want to come off as simply crazy or blindly cynical or just stupid...either shut up or give us an intelligent reason for why you believe as you do.
