I just challenged Chad Ochocinco to a fight

And I did it on Twitter! Good Lord, I'm a dork.

But a boxing dork. And the Pro Bowl is trying to hype its game, the week before the Super Bowl in Miami, by putting on a series of "Pros vs. Joes" events. One of them is boxing, where they want a Joe to box a player. They called me to be the Joe. I asked them to try to get Chad Ochocinco, who has dabbled with boxing, as the Pro.

So I Tweeted him the challenge, and even included this rather brutal story I wrote about him last month to get him motivated. Will he say yes? If the Bengals are in the Super Bowl, surely not. But if they fall short ... why not? He'll either be in the Pro Bowl or he'll be in Miami for the event. He lives down there.

So no excuses, unless he feels like beating me up would have no upside for him. And I would get that.

And getting beaten up by me would be even worse.

So I was right! When you said you went against your many rants about twitter and then got on twitter yourself, I said that you did it just because Chad ocho cinco and other big name athletes wouldn't talk to you in a professional interview forum. IT's sad to see how low a internet sports writer will stoop to get the attention of an athlete. Why in the world would Chad even respond? You are about as relevant to the sports world as a mcdonalds drive thru employee is to the culinary arts.  Chad doesn't avoid your interview requests because he has some kind of bitter grudge against you. He avoids them because he doesn't know who you are. You writing articles blasting him just makes him want to give you the pleasure even less. To me it's pretty arrogant and self serving, and a little delusional  to think that you have some kind of involved banter between you and a guy that was on Letterman a couple months ago. I'm sure he has a picture of you at his house that he throws darts at.

And by the way when are you going to admit that you were wrong about that article anyways? You said all this stuff about how bad Chad was for his team and how he would be their downfall this season but have you even been watching? And if you ask the team Chad is one of their rocks of stability. He cares more about winning and the team's success more than anyone else on that team with exception to Palmer. So just wondering if at any point do internet writers have any accountabilty for their comments? I know that I don't but I'm not getting paid like you are.

23 seconds? Child, please. You're right-

"And in today's sports world report, Gregg '3G' Doyel lasted 2 3 seconds in the 1st round of a scheduled 3 round exhibition fight with Chad 'what's my name' Ochocinco..."

happy now?

HA! I wanna see that. Try mocking Henry and see if you can get him pissed enough to fight. I've found calling Chis Henry "just another criminal" works to get Bengals fans and players riled up........

Man talk about the bad timing awards...

Anyway, I'd love to see a fight between you and Chad Johnson...but it is kind of like Michigan scheduling App State...not a lot of upside to beating up a columnist (although with how you get under people's skin you might be the exception), and like you said, he stands to lose a lot more than he stands to gain. When will you know for sure who you are matched up against?
