You're 6-foot-8. You weigh 250 pounds. You have enough basketball skill to play someday for a six-figure contract, possibly even in the NBA for a seven-figure deal.
And you're quitting basketball? Because the going got tough?
Grow up, you big baby. It can't be easy dealing with allegations that you stole a laptop from a dorm room, and if charges come and a conviction happens, well, wow. That would be awful.
But don't quit basketball. It's your ticket to the good life. You're going to throw that ticket away?
Come on. That's crazy talk.
Come to your senses, Royce White

Come to your senses, Royce WhiteThere's nothing saying he won't return to the Gophers next season if this can all get settled out and he can get back into shape and start practicing before next season starts. It's a long time away and anything can happen, but hopefully he gets his life together and lives up to his potential as a Gopher...

Come to your senses, Royce WhiteWhat makes you think he is quitting basketball? He clearly wasn't going to be allowed to play for the Gophers so he's doing the obvious next step. If he keeps his nose clean, he will resurface at some point at a junior college or Eurpoe. |

Come to your senses, Royce WhiteIt's kind of unfair you get to point out the obvious ... a lot
Most of everyone was already thinking that ... and we didn't need a hammer to hit our heads with to come up with it |
