Shameless Central Florida is a monster

A young man died on its watch, and now Central Florida will appeal a jury's finding that the school was negligent and should pay the dead football player's parents $10 million.

Which tells me UCF has no shame.

Bickering with the parents of a dead kid over why he really died -- when the testimony was chilling, including teammates' assertions that Ereck Plancher was "woozy and staggering" during drills and that he was "cursed at and singled out by [coach George] O'Leary for lack of effort" and that O'Leary withheld water during the workout -- is monstrous.

The jury has decided. The punishment against UCF is harsh, but you know what?

UCF got off easy.

Imagine being the parents of Ereck Plancher.

learn about law too

you clearly didnt follow the trial or know nothing about law, there is more than 50 reasons for ucfaa to appeal. the judge was one of the worst i've ever witnessed. at the end of the trial he literally said add it to your list of reasons to appeal. he sucked. a judges job is to be good enough to prevent appeals in trial court, and evans essentially admitted he failed miserably.

follow the trial and then explain what shame is

please tell me this blogger isnt affiliated with cbs. worst reporting i have ever seen. other than your bold claims, you also forgot more players testified they had water IN HAND during those 20 mins. IN HAND. you might think you heard something, but u dont forget holding something. plus more testified they HELD than the others who said they HEARD. balance my friend.

You know what is shameful. The fact that Yerrid (the attorney of a family who barely knows anything about the US, the planchers, the guy who controls their thoughts at will because they just dont know) had a son who drove 80mph in a 40mph zone. He KILLED A WOMAN. then got off with a 350 dollar ticket because of yerrid. now yerrid rants about getting justice. he just wants justice, yeah right, justice when it suits him or puts him in the spotlight. thats god damn shameful. his son actually HIT AND KILLED A woman, and got treated like he was goin 10mph over the speed limit. and yerrid has the balls to talk about morality. what an ugly article, do we even think before we complain in this country anymore?

Shameless Central Florida is a monster

Coledog you are a moron. ND settled for $42k with the State - not the family. Check your facts before you spout off. You anti-ND people are so predictable.

BS

The title of your article is stupid as hell.  By saying shameless central florida you make it look like everyone associated with the school is shameless, this was all just a sad event, he did from sickle cell, not a heat stroke or a beating.
