Broncos 29, Steelers 23 in OT

DENVER -- He's no longer a novelty, no longer a mystery, no longer a fluke. Tim Tebow is now a playoff-winning quarterback, and not because he managed this game.

He won it.

With Tebow tying two franchise records set by John Elway and throwing the winning touchdown pass in overtime, the Broncos defeated the Steelers 29-23 Sunday to advance to the next round of playoffs, next weekend at New England.

Tebow threw for 316 yards and ran for 50, and produced touchdowns each way. He joined Elway as the only Denver quarterbacks in the postseason to (1) complete two 50-yard passes and (2) throw and run for a touchdown, both in the same game.

Tebow needed just 10 completions to surpass the 300-yard mark, throwing rarely but gouging the Steelers for huge chunks of yardage when he did. That included his 80-yarder to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime for the winning points.

Thomas finished with 204 yards on four catches.

I just lost all respect for everyone of the analysts. What right do they have mocking Tebow or God ?  Bottom line is that they MOCKED both Tebow and God.

I didn't see it that way. I thought it was a pretty funny spontaneous homage to Tim and all things TEBOW! What else are they going to do after disparaging him all year? By the way, what time is it?

TEBOW-TIME!!!

Mullato, once more, because obviously you can't read. Vick did have a chance in Atlanta and was given a 100+ million dollar contract and blew it. He has a second chance in Philly and has done nothing with it. You need to explain what pass Tebow has been given that Vick wasn't? Maybe, that Tebow has never been given a 100+ million dollar contract to blow. Atlanta believed in Vick is the reason he was given the money. He was given the chance and the support to be franchise quarterback. He was the moron that blew it.

Yeah that win was okay, but he still hasn't won a game blindfolded with one hand tied behind his back in the middle of a thunderstorm.

There are at least 100 guys in the NFL, NBA and MLB that swagger around, thumping there chests, curisng every other sentence and taunting the other teams and fans and people accept it because it is part of today's culture and we are told we have to accept it or be labled a hater or bigot. A moral, upstanding and religious young man comes along, stands up for what he believes in (which is basically love your neighbor) and actually walks his talk. He is criticized continually, repeatedly told he can't play in the league in which he keeps winning and even wished injury on, because he continually praises the God, which obviously isn't accepted by the majority of the people in this culture. We need to give a convicted felon a second chance, but a vocal Christian needs to be silenced. This is a discredit on our culture, not Tim Tebow.
